But surely they have to reply , Its making my wife worry and she thinks they are going to fine her even more

It is not a fine. It's a speculative invoice from a bunch of unregulated scammers.

Have you complained to the CEO and your MP yet?
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D

  • How do i find out who the CEO is ?
  • Luckily we have a forum regular who is a Google Meister. I am sure he will type "who is the CEO of Tesco" or even "What is the e-mail address of the CEO of Tesco", and then post the result back on this forum for you.

Exactly as expected. You were lucky your first one was an easy one to quash!

Now discuss with your wife, about covering her numberplate in future.

IMHO, everyone should do this, there is no need to show a scammer your VRN on a plate to allow them to process your data, at all, on private land like retail car parks.

Ideas mentioned here as to how to safely cover it till back out on street:

I am perfectly serious when I post this.

There is no law saying you have to let a scumbag PPC see your numberplate.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
