A failure on the part of any person to act in accordance with any provision of the parking code does not of itself make that person liable to any legal proceedings in any court or tribunal.

Once we find out who motorists can report breaches of the CoP to, we will have to build that into every appeal as a normal step. It's a plan for the future but ''dob them in'', every time, and some mud will stick and some will be banned.
Especially early doors, when they are not up to speed and are there for the taking.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The very fact that the adjudication will be independent will surely inflict serious damage on Curly & Co.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

It depends on how strictly enforced the independence is. If it's the shed next door...0

I don't think the 2019 CoP will do much to hold Gladstones roboclaims back. There'll be loads of people (the majority of non-payers) still ignoring the charges and court papers will be out to them just as they are now - faster than the proverbial off a shovel. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

there will be 6 yrs of unpaid tickets going to court , basicly every ticket since POFa2012
when the companies get struck off , they will only loose DVLA access , many will still continue just ticketing (no ANPR) just as UKPC did when banned
if the income is not enough disbanded and sell all claims to the likes of MIL (mil cant be stopped by anyone) and as defunked companies DVLA cant do anything
or simply go on using tickets only and issue (robo style) say 1000 claims a week , that will keep them going for 6 yrs
this goverment failed us with POFa 2012 , all hype in the press to get defaults (wrong address) came to nothing
maggie may promised , but as usual forgot0 -
Just for clarity, the new Act is now in place, but have we now got to wait for the actual Code of Practice to be written?0
-
correct , after consultations etc the MHCLG or whoever will produce a CoP, and the framework and a start date (its like waiting for B*****)0
