  • I just had a measure up this morning. The height of the soundbar could be a problem.

I measured that i only have about 45mm height before it obscures what i think is possibly the receiver for the remote signal.

I have the older model of this, Great sound and cheap enough from ebay at £140.

Wattage improved upon mine, so would be better sound I guess: hard to believe. I run mine via HDMI ARC as I had issues with lipsync on Bluetooth & wireless.
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.

    Dimensions : Sound bar: 53 x 908 x 70 mm (H x W x D)
  • I tested it out last night and yup the bit that i thought was the remote receiver actually is the remote receiver.

So any soundbar or soundbase or soundwhatever will have to be pretty slimline.

Height wouldn't matter with a Soundbase as the TV sits on it.

My TV would sit on it? Hell fire, how wide is this soundbase? It'd have to be pretty wide, no?

Wouldn't it sound a bit crappy behind something? Genuine question. I don't know, maybe not but i just thought it would do with something in its way.

Google Soundbase........They are designed for your TV to sit on, so yes, they are as wide as necessary.

You can wall mount a soundbar above or below your TV.

The gap under the TV, or one shelf below the TV then?
