When I first read this thread some months ago, I had never heard of packing cubes. I bought some from Amazon and I am a complete convert. I have used them on 2 overseas trips so far and they were a real time saver.
I loaned a set to a friend and she loved them and has since bought her own. My daughter has bought some for her upcoming summer holiday with her children and I’m sure she will find them incredibly useful.0 -
I'm now a convert to packing cubes. Just back from a 3 week trip around Malaysian Borneo and they have been a real boon. Got the Gonex ones from Amazon on a Prime trial. very good.0

Watch a few of the videos on how to use them on YouTube. Then you’ll get it!0 -

Ok I can sort of see it, but none of the bags/cases they show have stuff like shoes or plugs or toiletries in. I use the nooks and crannies you get from irregular shapes to stuff socks and pants in! Maybe one or two compressing ones would be useful for bigger items.0

I cube stuff I don't mind if it crumples. I unpack from cube on arrival stuff I want to look tidy but CBA to iron...0

I bought the Eono packing cubes from Amazon and love them. I used them in Australia and Ibiza this year, and just kept all my stuff in them without having to unpack. Everything was rolled up in them, with just shoes and a couple of bits extra in my case. Fantastic!0

We have a bag for chargers/leads/adaptors/mosi repellent etc. You don't have to pack the cubes so they are rigid, you can squeeze the odd bits (socks and pants) into spaces that your normal packing would have.0 -
I’ve just had a look at the ones that are still in my Lidl. For £7.99 a set they are miles cheaper than the eBags ones I’m used to but looked really stiff & cheap to me. And I thought the big ones were too big - well for a woman’s clothes anyway. Zip stuck too. I’d avoid.0
