I’m Back and yes I’m now sporting a new letter from Gladraggies

    (Heading) LETTER BEFORE CLAIM

It states I have not provided a valid reason as to why I haven’t paid
We now require you to do the following within 14 days of court proceedings will go ahead
    1. I will have court fees added on to invoice so settle now
    2. They say they have evidence to support claim and will rely on this evidence in court
    3. Any correspondence with them after 14 days will not be considered as court proceedings may of been started

So, please I ask what now? I have 14 days and then life as we no it will end lol!!!!

I do wish they would take up a hobbie at gladrags instead of sending threatening letters out to poor people like me in there spare time!

Advise needed please if that’s ok

    Thank you

    Adele xx

A Letter Before Claim only offering fourteen days to respond?

That certainly does not comply with the Pre-Action Protocol for Debt Claims.

Who does the letter suggest you pay?

The letter tells me I must pay the invoice telephoning 033302*******
    Or

Log on to Gladrags website creating a username and password, there is a claim form on there I must print of and complete, they have also given me a reference number to quote when I’m logged in

But it tells you to pay Debt Recovery Plus, yes? It's not a real LBC.

Was the first one a real LBC? It would give you 30 days and would talk about the pre-action protocol for debt claims, and reply forms.

The first invoice only said it was being handed over to debt recovery, and that I should contact them. I said I wanted to complain but was told I couldn’t as I had past the deadline bearing in mind this was the first I knew about the money I owed to Smart Parking

No 30 days mentioned only please refer to paragraph 2.1(C)
It mentions that I must make payment and that’s it

So what now? I’m very worried as I have no money to pay and if I get a visit from them what should I do

Who does the Gladstones letter tell you to pay? Are Debt Recovery Plus mentioned anywhere in it?

    Visit from who?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
