  • I made the contact with Customer Advice thru this link, as this time their were based in Ipswich, Suffolk.
Hence I am a new user, I can not copy here links, but you can reach them thru the Suffolk gov uk online portal. They are very responsive and helpful.

    This?
    Based hq in Norwich, Norfolk,
Rather than their previous address of Ipswich, Suffolk.
Or do you want me to put the Suffolk link.

Or have we got it the wrong way round as per pinkshoes post

Best in future people direct complaints to the same one.
  • I have read quite a few of these complaints and I too have received or NOT received what this company were promising to sell. I fell for the whole thing too but I was lucky enough to have paid using my credit card and I have successfully managed to get my money back.
The company did not have any valid reasons not to refund me without giving me the service they should have delivered. They do try to get you into a corner which ever way you turned it felt like they had you. Lucky for me I stuck to my guns and followed through with my dispute.
I’m a single parent and was only looking for something to help bring some extra income in for my family. I couldn’t really afford it but was hoping in the long run once I’d done my course I’d earn back the money I’d put into my training. Sadly that wasn’t meant to be and I was so stressed that I wouldn’t be able to get my money back. This company are ruthless and do not care. They cancelled my practical sessions same as other people. How on earth can you actually learn without learning the practical side of nails?! You also have to sign their terms & conditions before you can do the online training which they state you have to do before booking a practical session!!
Anyway I’ve learnt a hard lesson with this situation and sometimes if it’s too good to be true it usually is!!

If you’re reading my post and have paid with your credit card I strongly advise you get your bank to deal with them. They will try and put you off by making more false promises but I just ignored them and let the bank sort it out. It’s taken months but finally got there.
  • My courses have also been rescheduled 3 times!! I can't attend the new dates they offered me in August so thought that getting a refund would be no trouble. How wrong am I!! Apparently they can reschedule indefinitely and because I accessed their 'online material' (once back in April before the original course dates in May) I am not entitled to anything!! I don't believe they really have courses...I live in London and there's been no dates for manicure and gel nails since I paid in April...I am definitely going to get in touch with trading standards. I wish I'd seen all the complaints about them before I paid up
  • Hi

    Do you know if this is the correct address;
Unit 17 Rookery Buisiness Park Silver Street Besthorpe Norfolk NR17 2LD

They have ripped off my wife, changed 4 times and now to long to get the payment back on the card it was paid with. Since I asked for a refund theyve stopped replying to my emails

Presumably for Next Step Beauty, registered company as Beauty Education Ltd, in order to serve court papers.
  • This is really strange, I was just doing some research to check if I should do a nail course with these guys and came across this - I was recommended this company by the owner of Aldercarr Hall (NR17 1LQ) as I happened to get talking to them about all sorts and mentioned I have always been interested in nails. I have to say, the property being called Aldercarr Hall when it was clearly a run down larger house made me question things so I'm glad I found this trail.

The owner of Aldercarr Hall happens to be the father of the man behind the operation. His name was Daniel something I believe and that he is often in the training room just down the road (Besthorp or something similar to that) and that they all live locally to that area.

I know it isn't specifics, but hopefully it helps.
  • Hello everyone,

As you may have guessed already, I have gone through the same issues with this company as most of you have...

I have made a complaint. At 9 am today I'll make a claim under section 75 because I paid with a credit card. Whether I will get favourable reaponse or not, I decided, that I will not stop there. I will go to FOS, Trading Standards and even small claim court if I need to. Seeing how many people have gone through so much and them still being able to do what they are doing, is not right.

Would anyone want to join in taking down this sham?
Could anyone share any updates regarding their outcomes?
I would very much appreciate any responses.

I suffered at the hands of NSB as well, what an awful company.

Just you know, their online courses are NOT ACCREDITED either - so you pay for a practical course and they offer a non-accredited online course instead. It is a total scam.

One by the name of Nail Technician Courses or NTC (nailtechnician-courses.com) has also just come on the market which is a scam. They are not accredited as they claim on their website as I contacted ABT to check and all the reviews are fake, stating how certain courses have run.

This is fraud and deception and I feel sorry for the good companies out there who have to fight against these scam artists.
