WiFi or data, which will phone connect to?

Yes that does seem pretty petty an pointless.... seems to be habitial for some.
OP - I believe where possible you device will prioritise wifi unless the strength of the WiFi becomes out of range.
Does depend on device and settings - I can help if your on iPhone, but not on droid.
It’s all in the WiFi assist setting really.0 -

A grey area I’ve found is when you think you’ve connected to wifi, but haven’t and instead youre using up your PAYG data. Happened a lot when staying in hotels so i tend to switch off mobile data now just to make sure.0
