Well you should be concerned about the 'fine' (not a fine) as the possibility of ending up with a CCJ registered at your address are high if the keeper of the car doesn't deal with it.0 -

But a CCJ at your own addrsss has no errect on you what so ever as long as you have no financial link.0 -
Hmmmm....I just called the previous owner of my house to enquire about this car and he admitted that it is his son's car. Why did he not notify the DVLA that he moved from this address...I bought the house from them nearly 4 years ago.
So it's not the PPC's fault (spits) or the DVLA it's this Muppet that can't get off their backside and change their address.
However I can't understand why the Road Tax reminder has not come to your address, it might have "rung a bell" prior to this.
Do you have their new address I would give it to the PPC and dob him in to The DVLA this has caused you problems and he needs to be called to account.
The real fine involved here could be his and from the DVLA for up to £1000 for failing to notify them!0 -

My MoT and Road Fund reminders are sent to me by email. If the previous owner's son is using the same system then nothing will be sent to the OP's address.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
