I think all this talk of food shortages is a load of old tosh.
It assumes that just because the UK leaves the EU, then border controls need to be enforced. But that's not true. The UK govt could just tell the ''Border Force'' to wave all the lorries through without checking anything.
Likewise the French could do the same.0 -

Lorries pass from England to Scotland and Wales every day without being checked and the world keeps turning.
These border checks and tariffs etc are all choices made by the govt. They're not at all necessary.0 -

Exactly so there needs to be far better checks at the borders,

Things are far more complicated
We are at a huge advantage having water between us and Europe
Look at all the illegal movement of people accross land of the country’s trying to control their borders.

I am not stockpiling
To be honest, if there was a real need to do it, Id be the last one in the queue as i'm so disorganised
However I do know an older couple (relatives) who are stockpiling. Their house looks like a branch of a supermarket.The opposite of what you know...is also true0
