Let's hope that they don't take it to Court, however I will keep going to the other address and checking if there is any post.
Kind Regards0 -
Lol.
Thanks for that, ps my subject access request which was sent to Gladtstones and the PPC did not go into specifics.
I just wrote can you please tell me all the information you hold of me. Will that suffice or do I need to do a detailed request?0 -
Use the link to a SAR template in the NEWBIES thread, that's why it is there.
You could ring Gladstones but I wouldn't.
I'd go and get the post this weekend. You could leave the new residents with a handful of pre-stamped envelopes with your new address on it and give them a bottle of wine as a thankyou for sending on your post for say, a few months...
If the LBC was issued in Feb, then they had to allow 30 days so any claim is not too late to acknowledge as long as you go get your post twice a week now.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I just had a look at the newbies thread.
I think I will write another request to both the PPC and Gladstone's.
And yes I think the idea of chocolates and a card would be a good idea.
Much appreciated0 -
Quick update.
I have followed the Newbies guide and sent 2 separate requests to the PPC and a further letter to Gladstone's to advise them to put a restriction on the matter.
I will go down this weekend and update accordingly.
Again, it is much appreciated.
PS, does anyone think it is wise for me to reply in accordance with Paragraph 4 of the Pre-action protocol under the Civil Procedure rules?
Kind Regards0 -
Quick update.
Received two emails from Gladstone's today.
Firstly they said in regards to restricting the processing of data, they have said:
Unfortunately we cannot process your request because we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing of your data which override the interests, rights and freedoms of you as an individual. That legitimate interest being that we are acting on behalf of our client for the recovery of monies relating to an unpaid Parking Charge Notice.
To process your data is necessary and lawful, as it is required in furtherance of our client’s instructions, and we act for them on their rights and obligations for the recovery of such monies.
They have said that they shall extend the Pre Action Protocol period by a further 30 days.
Do you think it's wise if I reply?
The second email said that they need some ID in order for me to verify my identity.0 -
Then send some form of ID, or just pooint ut that as you sent them their own reference, an theyre happy sending PII to this address already, they should probably continue to do so...0
-
Thanks that makes sense.
Should I reply to the pre-action Protocol also ?0
