Hx Car Park limited and old address

Hello all.
I tried to have a look at the newbies post but I did not find anything.
I'm hoping that someone here can help.
In September I parked in a car park, Saint George's car Park in Huddersfield which is managed by HX Car Park management. I normally park here as I have a permit for my workplace. However one day I parked on the opposite side but did not know that the side I had Parked was the wrong side.
Neverthless I did not reply to the invoice at all but today I received a text message from Gladstones on my mobile to say that I owe them £320 as they state that I have failed to reply to their pre-action letter. I moved from my old address in August 2018 and I haven't collected any post from the previous address for several months.
Can anyone advise and suggest what I should do?
Many thanks and apologies if it has been answered before.

at £320 n, it sounds very much like you have been issued a default CCJ , may I suggest you check for CCJd on your credit report ASAP
also check the DOC ref date on your v5 , bottom of page 20 -
1. Collect your post (if possible)
2. Send a SAR to Gladstones asking for all data they hold on you, which should include the original PCN and letters.
3. Send a rectification notice to the DPO at Gladstones and the PPC telling them of your address for service and requesting that they delete the old one.
4. Read the NEWBIE thread post # 2.
5. If you haven't already update your driving licence AND your V5Cwith the DVLA
ETA, just seen post by the cat, in which case, if true, ignore my points 2 & 3 but add when reading the NEWBIE that you need to read up on set-aside0 -
Many thanks for the response.
I shall check the V5 When I get home.
I did also my credit report and there doesn't seem to be any Ccj on there as of 4th March.0 -
I think there maybe a possibility that there are 2 PCN's however based on your advice I shall try to collect my post etc.
My driving license and V5C have already been updated.
I shall check post 2 and follow the steps in regards to doing a SAR.
Thanks0 -
you need to know date of event , then check DOC ref , that is the actual date your v5 changed0

Thanks bud.
Will check when home.
I also contacted the previous address and I have asked whether I can collect some post, so will go and collect later today.
Thank you for the help so far.
I shall update shortly.0 -
Just checked.
The date of incident was the 13th September 2018 and the V5 doc reference is dated 21st December 2018.0 -
ok so as far as parking companies , council and police were concerned you still lived at old address until 21st December 2018.
they (the parking Co) have acted within the law , you must inform them of new address and obtain all paperwork0 -
Thanks.
Shall i inform them by e-mailing Gladstones or should I inform by calling/e-mailing the ppc?
Secondly;
Shall i still do the above?0 -
3. Send a rectification notice to the DPO at Gladstones and the PPC telling them of your address for service and requesting that they delete the old one.
us your priority at this point
2. Send a SAR to Gladstones asking for all data they hold on you, which should include the original PCN and letters.
you also need to send this to the parking co , as gladstones are just agents and may not hold this info/tickets0
