Hi Slinky, yes I agree with you but I can't do the block paving in this awful weather. I did it myself last year and will do it again once we have a couple of dry days. I can jetwash it at anytime, it's the re-sanding that's the issue.0

It looks a well-presented house. However, if I was in the market, I would want to see a floorplan so that I can see how the house is laid out. I would also like to see a picture of the garden.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Hi commiserations on your mums MNU I know what it is like.
House fine though I wonder at experience of agent taking picture 2. Definetly need a floor plan as it mentions floor plan in description. I am also confused as to entry at rear. Does this mean that view of block paving shows kitchen or lounge side of the house? Do you only have one external door?
Professional photographer had me hide all everyday mess including toilet brush, you know it is needed but you do not want to see it!0 -
Floor plan chased up with the EA and I'm going to provide them with some new photos asap.
Fingers crossed ...0 -
Hi CatieX, I was genuinely surprised when I saw the house details (thanks to Mr Generous for posting the link). The house is immaculately presented and whilst the photo's could be better, they still give a clear depiction of the condition of the property, which is great, so that's not putting anyone off. A floor plan would be great, but on reading the description I have a clear picture in my head of what's on offer for £80k and it seems like stonking value to me! I think I may have identified the problem though - for a family home - where's the dining area? The main reception room is described as a lounger/diner, but it's not presented as such and there's no table in the kitchen either. A 3-bed property is likely to draw the family market and depending on the age of the children, families want somewhere to eat at a table. Whilst this hasn't been important to you, you need to present it the way new owners may want to use it and not showing that a dining table and chairs can be accommodated could be your Achilles Heel.0

Sorry to hear about your mum. The house looks lovely, and I can't believe it's 80k. I, unfortunately, live in a part of the country where 80k doesn't buy a garage

Keep us posted re viewings and offers and definitely sort out that floor plan!0
