Missing floor plans, unclear details, things like saying garage but no photo, all important to many buyers.
Do we know when the big mother crash is coming - I'll try and have some cash ready to snap up a bargain?
That will be clearer after the next round of elections in euroland, the PTB/CB`s have done a masterful job of delaying the inevitable with low rates and QE plus daft taxpayer funded schemes to get simple people into more and more property debt, but they have failed (badly) to control the political fallout, that is what is going to lead to higher volatility/interest rates and damage to economies. If house prices had been allowed to correct earlier there would never have been a win for Leave in the referendum for example, IMO.0 -
Of course it was a response to another poster, but this isn't your private board, yet.Crashy_Time wrote: »Pardon? The response was to another poster. I doubt you sold in the middle of Brexit, because that hasn`t happened yet, and if you look harder you will see pages and pages of "It`s the photos! It`s the EA!" on threads about obviously over-priced houses not selling.
I didn't claim to have sold in the middle of Brexit, just the biggest Crash that had happened in most adults' lifetimes, so why are you inferring that I did?
Yes, there have been many comments about bad photos and decor, just as there have been many saying "It's the price," like this one does. Nothing new there.0 -

? Earlier you said - "Really? I don't see that. Maybe you need to go to Specsavers"0 -
Yes, about this thread.0

Yes, about this thread.
But I said "Generally", meaning the whole property board. The general advice here is biased by the number of posters that have bought a while ago and want high prices, or have recent mortgages and need high prices, or own second homes or BTL and want to feel that their investment is still growing, the need for sizeable price falls tends to be the last thing that they want to discuss, while it is probably the first thing that would be sellers need to hear, if they want to sell that is? Low property prices are best for ordinary working people, and more and more people are coming to realise this IMO.0 -
Oh dear, I didn't mean to start any arguments. Anyway, I thought I'd post a link to my house on Rightmove but can't due to being a newbie on the forum. Anyway, if anyone feels like taking a gander, it's for sale in a village called Cassop in Durham, there are only 3 houses for sale and mine is on for £80K.
Please go easy on me though, I'm already an anxious nervous wreck about it all. I'm aware that it's ex-council property (most are in the village and surrounding areas here), it needs a new kitchen, a floor plan isn't yet available (I'm on the EA's case about it), the drive needs a good power wash (bloody awful weather stopping me from doing that) etc.
Thanks guys, your help really is appreciated.0 -
It looks well presented, I always like a floorpan though
When looking at properties I always look at a floorpan after the pics so I can visualise and see if I want to make a viewing0 -
I agree with the floor plan, it's the first thing I look at ... I'll keep chasing for it with the estate agent.0

I don't know the market but just wanted to say it's a well presented house. Is bedroom 3 really small though? An answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

I think it looks nice enough. the one thing the does niggle though is that the agent seems to have a thing about taking photos from silly angles.
Your living room one is taken from so low down that the focal point is the back of the couch, it doesn't show the space. Likewise your bedroom seems to be just a photo of a bed.
I also notice that there are window blinds halfway down on the windows and then all your wall and main lights are on giving the impression that without the lights on it may be gloomy.
I don't see any massive problem and wouldn't have thought that there was cause to panic after just 2 weeks.0
