I bought the NV601UKT last weekend to replace my Dyson.

It is amazing !! Very pleased with it.

Bought directly from Shark as they had 10% off last weekend.

To be fair, an asthmatic octogenerian with a drinking straw would be better than a Dyson.

Well got my 801UKT and wow. Sounds disgusting but I think I filled up the container in each room, even though they looked clean. Was nice to feel it pulling on the carpet and you could see where you had been. Also appears to have revitalized the carpet and not flat looking anymore.

Would definitely recommend again for anyone looking. Well worth the extra money

I returned my Duo Clean with Flexology this morning for a refund. It was great for the first couple of weeks then lost suction and started spitting out debris every time I switched it off. There are dozens and dozens of critical reviews on Amazon all complaining of the same issues. The Triple Particle Cleaning system they boast about is useless. They say it will pick up large debris from cereal to pet food but it and much smaller pieces of normal debris stayed in the u bend of the hose when I switched of because the suction is poor. It is even worse with the hand tools attached. So bad I had to use a dustpan and brush on the stairs. Avoid at all costs.

That's the stick one isn't it? Hopefully normal upright models are ok, not seen many negative reviews

Yes mine was a stick model so you'll probably be more happy with yours. Am now on the hunt for an alternative.

My browsing for a shark brought me to your thread. I was trying to find out if sharkvavuum.co.uk is legit because it is a different site to sharkclean.eu/UK and I was worried it was a knock off company as the prices seem too good to be true? I'm hankering after the 801ukt myself now....

Yes it's a legit site. I spoke to them on Facebook and it's where I got mine from and it automatically register the warranty for you. My 801 is still the best I've had, although the cable holders are bit of a let down.
