    Hi all,

Just an update to say I emailed my defence to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk on the 25th March and received confirmation from them by post on the 28th.
The confirmation states they have received my defence and a copy has been sent to the claimant and they have 28 days to inform the court of their intentions to proceed or not.

I guess I now just need to wait?

Hi all, a further update on this. I've now received contact from the county court asking me to complete the Directions Questionnaire. I have completed he form as per the guidance on the newbies section and plan to send back to them today (its due by the 20th May). It also states I must serve a copy to CEL.

My question is should I send it recorded mail or standard to both parties and can I also submit the DQ online?

    Thanks

Refer back to post # 10 and the advice given by KeithP where he tells you to submit your DQ to the same e-mail that you used for your defence. Send it to the claimants using the address on the claim form - if you use snail mail, just go to post office and get a FREE certificate of posting NOT recorded or signed for.

    Thanks Le Kirk.

I shall send my response via email to the court and a hard copy to CEL as above.

So, just as I was preparing my WS in readiness for the court hearing next month, I received a letter from CELs Legal team this morning......stating they have issued a Notice of Discontinuance to the Court.

    finally..it's over!
