This is a hugely long defence
What YEAR was it from? Tell us. We're not going to find out fo ryou

Frankly copying a defence in and asking means you havent yet read and understood what bits do adn dont apply to you. You cant do that. YOU have to understand YOUR defence.

edit that post with the defence , REMOVE IT , and just post a dead link, like I told you to do. this will be a lot easier if you follow instructions

and NEVER post a defence that you have not adapted

That is the one posted by C-m in May 2018, a 15 point defence.

It was copied from the Newbies section 2. Under a link from Coupon-mad that states :-
"Another ParkingEye defence, where there was a hidden iPad or keypad inside the Odeon, that no-one drew to the driver's attention"

The link takes you directly to the defence and is dated 6th May 2018

My question was more about the overall legal content than the specifics. I was simply asking if that example was sufficient enough to use in my own case to which I would then amend and send for review.

so its this may 2018 link https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/74254129#Comment_74254129

in which case you have 2 choices,

to adapt that 2018 defence from a PE defence into a CEL defence, checking all the facts very carefully and EDITING IT CAREFULLY too

    or

copying the BARGEPOLE concise defence and adapting it to suit

perhaps do both and decide which seems best of the two ?

but dont just copy stuff blindly without reading it , understanding it and adapting it

Thanks Redx and all for input so far.

I will review further the 2018 defence and amend it accordingly and post here later for your review and input if that's ok?

I've tried to find the 'Bargepole concise defence' within the Newbie thread and also the wider forum but failing miserably. This is my first ever dalliance with online Forums so not that familiar using/ navigating etc.

Would be extremely grateful if someone could point me in the direction of where it sits or add a link to it?

If you have found the NEWBIE thread, scroll down to post # 2 and keep scrolling until you get to: -
Here are some cases won or in progress:

    Here is a defence
and there are several links there. Admittedly the word used is "concisely" rather than "concise" but there are loads from which to choose.
  • Willer,

How long were you in the car park, in & out time - was it less than 12 minutes ?

The British parking association states in section 13.4 that people should be allowed a grace period on at least 11 minutes when entering or leaving a car park - I'm also in the defence stage against the same company for a stay at KFC !! - my thread is "county court paperwork for PCs from cel"

I hope this is of use for you & im living the same nightmare & feel your pain !

Why not just put 'bargepole' when you hit CONTROL & F when looking at the sticky? Whether people have used forums before, or not, most know how to search a document, and the NEWBIES thread page can be searched just like any other.
