I have changed my mind. I am tired, in pain and don't want to do anything other than just rest now today. Early start for paid stuff tomorrow.

    Boilerman/sparks are allegedly coming tomorrow.

In the meantime, it's a full 7 Celsius colder than it was two days ago in the living room, which is the warmest room in the house.

Himself is off out rehearsaling, so has left a ding dinner and a YS sandwich which was scarfed down immediately.

I decided I wasn't going to do the kitchen clean up last night. He sort of did some washing up today. But the countertops are covered in stuff, including some sort of fruit loaf that he's tried making and it pretty much expanded to three times the expected size.

I anticipate going to bed long before he gets back tonight.

Evening Folks sorry I have missed a few weeks.

Dancepops was discharged from hospital after 52 days and survived a few hours at home before pulling his Catheter out and ending in a&e. Their house look like a crime scene. He lost a lot of blood. I have goog led and pretreated the stain but it looks no different.
He is now in a delirium Ward as he is very confused. The doctors aren’t sure whether this is caused by the stroke or infection. He has a chest infection and they also mentioned blood infection (sepsis). His temperature keeps going up. They need to check his heart valves yet again. He keeps trying to pull his cannulas out. My Mum has a urine infection.

    Showtime for dance school too.

Basic hygiene standards and dailies done

Sorry I’m not up to date with posts x

    Hi all

A good day, stomach a little better, scan next Thursday and Doc seems to think that will show something up. Tired, slept badly but a productive day.

DS has scooped loads of laundry off bedroom floor so washing machine on 2nd load, shame it's supposed to be wet tomorrow. DS and GF had made pancakes so they gave the kitchen a good clean afterwards.

The floors can wait. Sitting down with a cuppa and going to read the paper. DH is dealing with MIL as she's had a fall, just a couple of weeks or so aft her heart attack.

    Sorry to hear that.

Flyladies, I need some serious help. About 18 months ago, maybe longer, maybe three years ago, I noticed a distinctly unpleasant whiff in OH's part of the wardrobe. (It's built in to the corner of the bedroom and my clothes are on a hanging rail at rightangles to his.) I made him clear it out completely, wash down the walls, interior sides and doors, aired it for about 48 hours, got cedarwood shelves to go back in rather than the MDF offcuts that had been there for years, made him take everything that couldn't be washed to to dry-cleaners, and washed every single thing that could be washed. It was niff free for about a year, but the unpleasant whiff is now back. It's not BO; it's just stale. The only way to shift it is to open up the door and put the electric fan on it for a few hours and it's fine again, but we've now had to do that three times. My side is still niff free, but clearly whatever the problem is hasn't been cured. Can anyone suggest what we're getting wrong? What is it that we haven't thought of that's causing the problem? I just can't figure it out and I'm tired of having to deal with the smell.

Swap sides.. put your stuff in his side.. if the smell moves.. it is him who is stinking.. if it stays at the same side I'd rip out the wardrobes, possibly replace them. I am extreme and excessive though.

Dancemum sorry to hear that, seems a lot of delirium about. MIL worse, if possible, today. She tried to bite the doctor as she doesn't want any checks, has hit out at all and sundry including Mr N and pulled out drips. As fast as they were wrapping bandage round to keep the cannula in, she was unravelling it from the other end. For someone they are trying to get blood into as her proteins are low, she is very strong. It took 3 of them, with Mr N helping, to get the blood transfusion done, with her literally snapping at them, poor thing. Let's hope the blood works.

Narc0lepsy It is distressing isn’t it. I’m not sure if he knew who I was part of the time. Quick visits turn into long ones. X
