Glowworm ultracom 12hxi - No hot water

We've just moved into out new house and the boiler doesn't appear to be producing hot water.

When i try to use the programmer there is not hot water logo on the screen. There are no faults and the heating works fine.

I will get an engineer out but does anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be? I have never had to deal with boiler issues before!

Have a look at the manual HERE, there seems to be a DHW (Domestic Hot Water) function.

I have read through that, it would appear the bot water option on there is only available if the is an external glow work control fitted. I don't believe we have this.

There is a switchmaster 300 next to the boiler. Would this make a difference?

It would if it had a hot water control on the front?

Faulty motorised valve, use the manual lever to open it and lock it in place.

A replacement head should fix the problem

It was on program so I tried it on constant. That did nothing. It's not as cold as the cold water tap but not warm.
