Glowworm ultracom 12hxi - No hot water

We've just moved into out new house and the boiler doesn't appear to be producing hot water.
When i try to use the programmer there is not hot water logo on the screen. There are no faults and the heating works fine.
I will get an engineer out but does anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be? I have never had to deal with boiler issues before!

I have read through that, it would appear the bot water option on there is only available if the is an external glow work control fitted. I don't believe we have this.0

There is a switchmaster 300 next to the boiler. Would this make a difference?0

Taking a guess here but is it on constant? programme, off?The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0 -
Faulty motorised valve, use the manual lever to open it and lock it in place.
A replacement head should fix the problem0 -
It was on program so I tried it on constant. That did nothing. It's not as cold as the cold water tap but not warm.0
