Claim form from county court - help please!!

Apologies first if something like this has already been covered...
My partner parked in a CEL car park and did not purchase a ticket as he he didn't realise he needed to. There was no ticket machine but were signs stating you needed to pay and you could pay by phone. He presumed he did not need to. He did this on approx 6 occasions.
We moved house and had a message from the new occupants (luckily close friends) that we had a fair few letters addressed to my partner. We collected them and they were parking fines, for each occasion he parked there. We have been back and forth every few weeks since picking new letters up, we've had the usual solicitor letters, debt collection etc. We have completely ignored them. We didn't know whether we needed to get in touch with them to change our address, as we didn't want that to count as responding to them.
We've picked another letter up this evening and now have a claim form from the county court. The claim form is for a single fine, not all of them.
Have we got a chance of winning this, as it is a few fines and not just one?
The form says if we disagree with the claim then to send a completed acknowledgement of service form or a defence form to the court within 14 days of the date of service. If we send the acknowledgement of service we have to send a defence to the court to arrive no later than 28 days from the date if service.
Who do I need to contact to inform them of our correct address? The form does have a section to dull in for the address to which documents about the claim should be sent.
PLEASE HELP!! We have absolutely no idea what we are doing. I'd be very grateful.

Is this related to your earlier CEL thread?
If so, can I suggest you copy the above post as a reply on that thread?
Having done that, perhaps you can edit you post above to say something like:Duplicate thread - please ignore.0 -
I'm not sure what you mean?0

This thread looks like a continuation of the saga started here:
This forum is far too busy to cope with incidents that span several threads.

Oh I completely forgot I had posted there. What do I need to do now?0

Hi
I’ve been stupid, ignored pcn notice that my wife got on my car & today I’ve received county court papers totalling £267.13 for a 10 min overstay in a kfc car park in Stockport.
Is there anything I can do ..
I’ve read the newbies post but cannot see any defence for cc claims - can you help me orsupply a link to assist in what I need to do
Thanks0 -
Have posted it as a reply on the other thread.0
