Had a busy few days lots of overtime worked and not much else done. Working today but part time hours only.
Managed to list 4 items on eBay on Sunday and two have bids so will sell.
Did some food shopping after work yesterday and managed to stay under budget. Since January I’ve been keeping a note of my weekly spends and I’ve kept under budget every week. I’ve found it helpful to write down every penny I spend as it makes me think twice about things/ food before I buy them
Off to catch up on some diaries before work.Started this journey in 2013 (on a previous diary) with approx 94,000 total of morg and debt combined

I think you've a similar outlook on life to myself...
I am also living as frugally as I can but like you, enjoying life
I have found this forum and the folks on it to be amazingly supportive, helpful, inspirational and caring... in all honesty, I consider a lot of folks on here to be true friends and If I met them in RL would be more than happy to share a coffee or a pint with them and a right guid blether

Thanks so much for your post! Yours is also a diary I have followed often - you are doing so well !! and yes you are right there is so much support and encouragement on here - quite amazing really. Being in debt can be quite an isolating experience and having the ability to share things on here and not be judged is such a great thing.

Had a good day today, I’ve been sat calculating how much the overtime will bring me in next months salary and it’s quite a decent amount. I’ve more overtime tomorrow and more booked for next week which is good. Looking forward to the weekend I’m hoping to get some walking in and will be having my little one to stay over at the weekend. I’ve a social event for Sunday which is good as I’ll get to catch up with friends I haven’t seen for a while. Oh and I have my eBay sales ending on Sunday so that will be interesting Started this journey in 2013 (on a previous diary) with approx 94,000 total of morg and debt combined

Absolutely what I found here
I'd been carrying debt for years and really struggling just to get by and when I found this forum and the fantastic folks, help and advice on here, it truly helped me to turn things right around and get the help and support that I needed to break free of it all. It hasn't been easy and there have been downs as well as ups but I know that once my sequestration has completed I am finally free of debt.
Thank you for reading / following my diary. Feel free to say hello / comment on there anytime
Have a grand weekend with your wee yin and hope the weather is good for your walking. I am hoping to get out and practice camp set-ups this weekend, I do light weight hiking and wild camping with my mates and my dugBUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron

I’m feeling the effects of perhaps too much overtime at work but pleased I’ve done it - the extra money will be great in my April wages.
Spent lovely time with my little one we had great fun - we did some arts and crafts and baking too. It would have been nice to get outdoors but the weather here has been awful. Still we had a great time indoors I loved every minute.
After the little one went home I tidied away, cleaned up, did the washing and then collapsed in a heap on the sofa. My friend rang to see if I fancied going out and even though I had fun money in the budget I just didn’t have the energy which is not like me !
Anyway, I’ve enjoyed my day and I’ve just cooked and eaten a lovely meal. Catching up on diaries now with gardeners world on the I player as nothing on the channels tonight interests me
Hope anyone reading is ok and having a good weekendStarted this journey in 2013 (on a previous diary) with approx 94,000 total of morg and debt combined

Had a good day today - did all the stuff on my to do list well apart from a long walk as the weather is awful here today. I only managed very short walks to get the dog out.
Caught up with ironing, budgeting and diary planning. Had a lovely afternoon catching up with friends and had drinks and some nice food while we were out.
I’m at work early tomorrow on overtime and then back later in the day. in between I’m looking after the little one. It will be a tiring day I’m sure
I have a short break / holiday coming up very soon and that keeps me motivated through the overtime and tiring days. I always like to have things to look forward to and this year is filling up nicely with little trips / music events and theatre trips - im quite good at finding bargains and book well advance if I see a good deal apart from music event tickets - they are so expensive but I do love them
Hope all is as good as can be with anyone following.Started this journey in 2013 (on a previous diary) with approx 94,000 total of morg and debt combined

Quick update regarding eBay I made a profit of 16.88 pence. I’ve opened a separate account with my bank and transferred it straight in - it’s not a lot but it’s better than nothing and it’s a start.:TStarted this journey in 2013 (on a previous diary) with approx 94,000 total of morg and debt combined
