Do the people in Mr Double's constituency know he is having cosy chats with the scammers who caused them so much distress0 -
Pigs walking on two legs. It's now 'Two legs good. Four legs bad'.
The new Code of Practice needs input from people who have actually been through the process.
Please, please, pretty please, leave Dracula in the crypt where he belongs.

Has the actual Code of Practice been decided on?
One of the issues that I have had with dealing with the PPC's is the total lack of regulation by themselves and their agents. Their current CoP's are meaningless and there is no compliance with the CoP's. My background is from an industry that is very regulated and I found the PPC's industry totally alien to deal with. Regulation is zero, compliance is zero and customer service is zero.
If there is not a truly independent appeals system that people can trust the courts will still be clogged up with claims.

Maybe Bargepole can help with that one
And you are right, zero regulation. I see no reason why the BPA and the IPC should retain ATA status, both failed the public with zero control of their members.
All private parking companies should be licenced by government on a yearly basis with fees in line with their turnover from farming car parks.
Government missing out on a money making opprtunity0 -

Parking charges should not form part of the PPC's business model. A large percentage of the claim should go to charity or NHS.
