Switching from Sky to Now TV

I have researched the matter and now found that Now TV is owned by my current provider Sky. I am therefore not sure why I am being told Now TV can not provide my property (I live in a city), when there parent Company (Sky) has no problem in providing my property.
I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this, as it appears I am being blocked from moving from Sky to Now TV on a false pretence ?
I moved from Sky to NowTV BB and neither are blocking it. Are you moving from ADSL to fibre (or vice versa)?0 -
Hi, I am moving from ADSL to ADSL.0

If this is an example of Now TV's customer service, they're probably doing you a favour in preventing you from switching to them.ragnar1415 wrote: »I am therefore not sure why I am being told Now TV can not provide my property (I live in a city), when there parent Company (Sky) has no problem in providing my property.0 -
I don't know about this 'necessary wiring' bit (sounds like an agent who's first language isn't English perhaps) but perhaps NowTV's ADSL is full at your particular location?
I'd look at fibre anyway as the prices have crept down to almost comparable levels. Hell, you can get Virgin 100Mbps for £19 a month at the moment.0
