  • Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.

Gers........Happy birthday, I hope you have a lovely day, save me a drop of champers, pretty please................

Another lovely morning, bed linen dried on the line yesterday, hope the same for today, have a coloured load in and then OH's track suit and a fleece of mine.

As expected the X Ray of OH's neck showed deterioration of his cervical spine. He is now going to have an MRI scan to see of there is nerve damage.

I had the last lot of eye medication last night, for some reason I found it a bit trying, I do not remember the stinging last time, but then it is 5 years ago since my left eye was done.

OH has been on the phone to the gardener, the grass is in need of a cut, it did not get done at the end of last year, the weather changed and it was too wet.

I got a pack of lean stewing steak reduced to £1 from Morrison yesterday, so need to cook that. The store cupboard is well stacked with tins and packets. I need to get a few things from Aldi each week now.
Things like cream crackers, ryevita etc.

Post office calls I need to get some 2nd class stamps before they go up. The cost of posting a letter is diabolical now 61p for a second class. I wonder if eventually email will take the place of letters.

  • Morning all. Happy Bithday Gers. Organza we like ham and pea gnocci gratin. Google it and it is a Sainsbugs recipe. You will need a bit of creme fraiche.

Bright and cold today. The bedding is on the line. We are going to the Mall at Cribb's Causeway in a bit to pick up a pair of slippers OH ordered last week. They only had one pair in stock and he likes io buy two pairs at a time.

Hugs to poorlies and worried. Have a good day folks.

    It's another sunshiny day :j.
I have woken up this morning with a humdinger of a headache and then a nose bleed. Good start to the day .
Yesterday was a weird day as I found the rings and hooks for the voiles, then realised I didn't need them as they had a sleeve to put the rod through . Up they went and down they came as I didn't like them back up !
I found the missing remote part on the bedroom floor but by then we'd sourced a replacement and ordered it. Mr Fix It cleaned the inside of the old one, put in the missing part and hey presto ! We will now have 2 working remotes........ what's the betting that the TV will go bang first :rotfl:.
I had to strip the bed yesterday too, as I found lots of little bits of plastic in there from where Mr Fix It opened the remote. I'd only changed it last Thursday
Mr Fix It has taken DD and her family to the train station as they are going to Londinium for a couple of days. They have tickets for Mamma Mia and will also visit one of the museums. ( I've forgotten which one :o )
I have one load for the WM and then I want to hoover through downstairs and up the stairs, but only if I can get rid of this headache :(. If not, it's a day lying on the sofa.
Nelski It's ladies first on the charra as always. Hope today goes as well as can be expected :(. Sending you lots of mental strength . I have to ring Dad tonight ...... oh joy, I hope he's in a better mood !
Gers Happy Birthday. Here's more cake :bdaycake: Enjoy your special day !!
Right I'm off to source some heavy duty painkillers as the OTC are not doing much good. Sorry for waffling :o.
    Have a good day all

Another wasted morning , and a waste of bute for Scoobymare:mad: Mind you she trotted up the field like a good un when I got them in ready for the visit.
