Yeah, Help to buy first. Put the rest of it in an emergency fund as a safety net for when I leave my job.
Last two days have been hell (lets just say fire extinguishers) and made me quite certain I am leaving.
The crush and I text loads most nights, some times about work and other times other stuff. But he isn't coming back to work. Which broke me tonight a bit. So I doubt we will meet up, he has had a terrible time - his experience is a big part of my reasoning for leaving. And I really don't think he wants to be reminded of it - ie me!
Oh well.
I shall await the cheque and go from there.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Mightn't he like to catch up with you since you've been a great support through it all? How far away is he based?Debt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

He might do but he is moving to over the other side of London and then some. 1 hour for a normal driver two hours for me! We could meet in the middle and he has n't moved yet. I would like to see him to say goodbye.
However I am in danger of clinging to the little things he says. So I am trying to step back at the same time as REALLY wanting to do something dumb.
Lets hope his replacement is a tall handsome 40 something male

Why would doing something be dumb? You haven't said he's taken, you've already said you text most nights including about non work stuff, now you mention little things he says and if you won't work together any more you don't have to see him if you don't want to. Don't step back too far if you'd rather be stepping forwardDebt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

Yeah. I just don't think it would be right, tho I want to. He is a mess right now. Am a bit worried about him. so tired tonight.
In other news something happened at work - I know did the right thing, but the fallout has been a bit of an eye opener. And the tax rebate being part emergency fund is a definite.
And in other other news, BIL is back in hospital, it is not serious just stressful.
I would do the money thing but I am shattered.

Right, I did the money thing this morning. The money I transferred has turned up! YAY!
I have 915 pounds for the HTB, and will get the remaining 285 from the tax rebate.
Long term finances.... (do you know I can never spell that word!)
Group one
My spending account
My HTB (200 a month)
My random spends account (Virtual sealed pot 1 spare changes gets moved over.)
If anything is left it goes on my CC debt
Group Two
Bills, wages and regular savings
My wages are paid in, bills like rent and phone bill,200 on the CC go out as do my savings for summer, insurance, penny a day etc. spends out to my current account in group one. Whatever is left goes on my CC debt.
Groups Three
Start using other two currently dormant current accounts.
Put the 3000 pounds from the tax people in, spilt it and move 1000 between them to get the benefits if they still exist(3 pound a month I think?)
the key here is to completely ignore it and forget it exists.
Right I need to walk the dogs. I hope that makes sense...am typing in a hurryNevertheless she persisted.0 -

Nothing else since walking the dogs has made sense.

Am entirely sick of it all. Need to do some work this afternoon on something. I wish the weather would stop being so crap.
