Have you got anywhere you could swim open water, Buffy?

Or is there a pool near work?

I might be up for a swim challenge as it's on my list of things too, just got a bit bumped with the move.

Could you fit in swimming first thing before work at the cheap and cheerful pool?

I don't think so... Pool opens at 7, I think that might be a bit tight to get to work by 8.

plus swimming makes me stupidly tired and I love going to bed after it!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh well, back to the drawing board ...

You need to find something you enjoy exercise wise or you won't stick to it xx

I love swimming late too, and it's often quieter.

Would it be worth joining the posh gym for a month to see how you go and whether you feel it's worth it? Or do they do a free trial? £8.50 isn't much more than coffee and cake and it would give you physical and mental health benefits, so if swimming is what you love I'd say try it and if it's worth it to you that's all that matters.

  • Do any of the voucher sites have cheap initial gym access? If so, it would let you see how much use you would make

Just popping in after seeing you over at my diary

Just to say, I used to swim in the evenings and it led to wonderful sleeps.

Also go for the best swimming pool you an afford. That said any swimming is better than none :)

  • Today I was busy outside of the house, which was good. But not for my plans.

Must go to bed early today tho. Up too late means I don't get a good start on the day.

And I really need to get a good start tomorrow. Going out shopping Monday and for drinks Tuesday. I might cancel the drinks. Day drinking is not a good look for me!

I really need to figure out how to get in the shed. Lost the key. I tried bolt cutters but am not strong enough. Ugh.

I think I might have to take the hinges off. Also need to build the guinea pig hutch. Am running out of holiday.

Also money. I bought some paint stripper stuff last week but I don't think I will get to use it.

Still cleaning and organising the crushing mess that is my room is a priority. Exam season is upon me/us and I MUST have a sanctuary.

I must. My room at the moment represents my brain! Must be sorted. Will be sorted.
