Buffy's 30 Month Plan

I think sometimes people forget that those of us who appear to deal with everything, don't necessarily do it easily or without a cost to us. Which isn't to excuse your mum, because it's still thoughtless and rude. I don't suppose she apologised?
I suggest getting your diary out and booking yourself something fun every month and every week minimum. Also, think of some baby steps for the long term that you could plan in - eg an afternoon in a coffee shop playing with property websites?

Sorry to hear things are tough Buffster. I'd rather hoped there might be a romance between you and the crush. Oh well.
Your mum should be more supportive you do a lot for her. She takes you for granted
Good idea there from Rosa about planning in some treats.
Take care xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Thanks all XX
Mum doesn't mean it as such, she is the absolute Queen of saying the wrong thing. I spoke to my friend about it today and it was a good chat. You have to take the good with the bad.
I went to work today, it was good, the kids aren't great but I get paid! and some of them got something out of it. And then I bumped into some other students who were hilarious!
I am going to shopping with my friend on Monday, until then it is operation House. Starting with my room. I also bought the piggies a new cage. The old one is on FB for a tenner tho as is a fish tank.
Tomorrow I am going into work to do some marking. I am better out of the house. And then home to do my room. Contemplating painting it over the weekend!

Well It would have been better to be out of the house but I am ill. Woke up at 5.30 with a tummy ache! Feel rough.
So am sat here pondering life choices!
The washing is on and I am still aiming to do my room. I am debating what to eat, we don't seem to have much in to be honest. Maybe soup at lunchtime.
ugh. Wish me luck!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Wishing you luck.

I am going to go for a walk after dinner.
I am debating gym membership again. I really want to swim again, I haven't for years. The local gym does a pass for 219 pounds for a year.(they do an all the gym stuff for 800 a year) However, the pool is only open till nine and you have to book to swim or do a fitness class (which I would hate) in advance, it is always full of children and you have to pay for parking. Also I can't figure out the timetable, it seems like the big pool isn't open every day.... you can only swim till 7.
The posh Gym which is 68 quid a month. I would get use all the facilities (but honestly can't see me using them) but the pool is part of a hotel and they provide towels, a steam room and free parking.....but it would work out as 8.50 a go if I went twice a week.
17 pounds a WEEK.
so yeah. Not sure. Maybe I walk for free!! or run. Running used to help when I was angry. Hmmm.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
I didn't go for the walk by the way! I am going to have some peppermint tea. Living the dream.
The other thing I could do - perhaps more realistically(!) is go swimming once a week? At the crappy pool - 5 quid, 20 pounds a month.
Seems a better plan right?
I think I just like hotel pools! like being on holiday!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
