  • Thanks very much nosferatu1001 I found it earlier and have to agree, very complicated and wordy. i have based every part of my defence on things that make good common sense and points of law i can understand and explain, and failures in Codes of practice. Shame as it seems to work on many occasions but i am not that clued up.
can anyone tell me, do i have to send Gladstones a copy of skeleton argument or can i give it to them on morning of court. i am taking a copy to court Tuesday morning as i dont trust formatting or my email skills. ive read different views on this so not sure.
Finally is anyone else on here, in Leeds court on Friday.
    Thank you everyone
  • Quick update: I spoke to gladstones to arrange exchange of skeleton argument and they said they were not providing one and I should refer to witness statement. When I handed mine in to court I asked if this was normal, the lady spoke to a barrister who said if he was asked to present a case on witness statement alone, he would expect the judge to be against him all the way.

Have you also filed & served your COSTS SCHEDULE of 3 figures, so as not to be accused of ambushing them when you ask for your costs at the end, when you win?

You could search the forum for his/her surname but bear in mind cases fairly often get moved to a different Judge on the day, due to one list being busier than the other!

You might want to send a pm to the poster called lamilad, who has helped people with Leeds court cases and might know which Judges are good. He doesn't post here much now but is still active in fighting PCNs for people.

  • A skellie is optional on the small claims track.
  • So I've checked tonight on BPA website and JD parking are now not showing as a member.
I'm sure they were when I checked before there not on IPC list either. As they were on list I've not mentioned it in defence so where do I go with it. Can I bring it up in court as obviously if not a member no action. Please reply with advice only 1 day to go. Many thanks
  • Ignore last post I've found them on list.
  • What I have found is JD parking are not members of ipc, yet in witness statement they refer to it's code of practice as it suits their point surely this is a good point
