there or their, one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff

  • This looks like the PS/2 version of the ones we use. We use USB ones as these are simpler for ham-fisted kids to plug back in than the multipin ones, which gave us problems with bent pins. They seem to be standing up well so far to our lot: they can not only break Tonka toys but also real cars!

Scan or photocopy the receipt if it is thermally printed, as these fade with time, keep them safe and don't be embarrassed to call in the guarantee or warranty if and when necessary.

A "mouse for life" for just over a fiver! How MSE is that?
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

Yes the cheap corded ones will survive everything but an EMP and if that happens your computer wont work either so you won't need a mouse. again everyone has said microsoft and logitec produce bullet proof mice, their keyboards are not so good I prefer cherry If you want more proof I will show you my desk where I have 3 mice in use, the ms intelimouse 2.0 (bought in 1995), the intelimouse 2.2 and the intelimouse explorer. My laptop I had a notbook optical, I damaged the cable contacted microsoft and they sent me a new one. I then got a notebook optical 1000 from them for free with a rewards program they have for windows mobile training. I signed up with logitech as a reseller and they sent me a cordless desktop (£100 mouse and keyboard at the time) for free and a bit later they sent me a cordless mouse.

No need to return your mouse to the store when it comes to microsoft, their warenty department is excelent. I know sales of goods act you should go back to the supplier but you phone microsoft give them the product ID code on the device and tell them it has stoped working and the date you bought it and they send you a new one. They also do this with ALL their hardware like xbox controlers etc. my advice with mice is to scan/photograph the bottom of your mouse as the PID sticker on some mice can get rubbed and unreadable after a period of time.

Scan charge over £6 for p&p so I though if I'm spending more why not see what I can get e.g. this one:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Logitech-MX610-Laser-Cordless-USB-Mouse-Silver-Black_W0QQitemZ250187867299QQihZ015QQcategoryZ96891QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

it only has 3 months warranty as it is Logitech refurbished but will it be a better mouse than the
    Logitech Wheel Optical Mouse, 800dpi, PS2 £5.04 ?
