Hi Honeybee. What's the proper way then? I' a tad worried now as this is the second time I've heard of someone having problems with their returns..

I'm sending some bits back by courier on Thursday and was just going to add in the returns form and kepp my own stamped copy. Is there something more I need to do?

Oh, also, I printed mine off online and 2 items I spoke to Avon over the phone aren't on the form - can I just add the details in by hand?

    Ta

    Hi Shortie.

Apparently, you need to have a list of everything you're returning and get that approved by the courier.

I wasn't informed of this until the courier had taken the items and I got a phonecall from Avon asking for payment. I informed them that I'd returned the items but they said that as the courier didn't sign a returns sheet stating all that was in the parcel, there's no proof of return and my account will not be credited.

    Hope this helps.

Ta... I'll leave it open for them to check first then, and seal it when they've signed the paper :)

I love this idea but would be a bit too worried to try it myself as I'm pants at my own makeup

How about letting a few people try some masks.
    Less risky than a makeover.
It gets people involved and talking about the products and someone will get some free pampering.
They can talk about it feels and usually people say complimentary things if it's free.

I had a problem when my sister reacted to a face cream (she is very sensitive more than most!) avon got in touch personally and sent her a returns form very confusing as i had already refunded her and she didnt want the faff of filling in there survey on the product and i had the product. I had emailed them with her address and the complaint.

Avon refund for any reason! you have to refund if they want to keep the noir i would ask advise from avon. I woudl never leave a customer with a bad product they will put other people off yet if you do the no quibble refund they will say how quick you were to refund and what a good policy avon have. It must have been a one off (ok some of the freebies are dead naff) the freeibes are usually so good.

Thanks for that i will get in touch with Avon and the customers were really nice about it they know it was'nt my fault and i did offer to refund their money but they refused said they loved the after shave and the watch was free, they thought i should know about the watches.

You have to order at least 3 packs of books, there are 5 in pack and thats £4.64 (30.93p each), then every pack of 5 after that is 47p (9.4p each)
  • Thank you for your quick reply i have just started doning avon and i was tring to work out if it was worth me keeping my step daughter on,and paying her but its not i wouldnt make anything if i did.

wirelover - after the first 3-4 campaigns it gets easier as you can start to cross houses off your list as people will tell you that they are not interested in the books. Just remember to go back every so often (but not too often!) incase circumstances have changed.
  • Thank you im not giving up but i will have to let her go i said to my partner if i only make £75 in sales then that £25 for me but out of that i would have to buy books and this might sound a bit selfish but i want some money for me cause i do nearly all the work.
  • you could try giving your step daughter a fixed discount if she gets orders in - my daughter helps me and gets 10% from all her sales, it helps her to keep motivated and helps me too!
:T Thanks to all lovely MSE'rs - you are great friends :T
