Avon - Hints and Tips?

Can I please just ask any of you thinking of applying for Avon can you please do it through a sales leader?

We sales leaders only earn commission so if we don't sign anyone and look after them we don't get paid, area managers who get all the leads form the official website get a salary and have less time to spend with individual reps in my opinion! I'm in Cornwall but anyone wanting to sign anywhere else can pm me or look at my homepage and I can get you in contact with a local sales leader. Hopefully that makes sense :-) x

How annoying!

I just had a £60 order from someone I work with; I told her i will deliver the goods to her on 16th September (my delivery day is the 15th)

She then cancels her order; she said 'can i cancel the order then as I can just go on the Avon website and order and the products be with me in 3 days!!!'

Why do Avon bother getting us reps if people can go and buy stuff online with 3 day delivery!?

Did you point out to her on the avon site she will have to pay delivery?? Luckily most people I know prefer to deal with a rep but do get the occassional ones! Could we worse I had a £75 order from a lady went to deliver it and she kept putting me off with excuses in the end I had to return some of the stuff couldn't return all of it tho as I would've been below my minimum order for sales leader earnings and wouldn't have earnt anything, so had to pay for some of it myself!!!

Congrats :-0 you won't regret it, Avon's real fun job I've met soooo many nice people from it and now know all my neighbours as well because of it! Just beware the hello tomorrow discount mag for reps so so so tempting to spend all your earnings and more in it lol!

Yeah i pointed that out but oh well; for next times campaigne I am putting a little note inside saying the delivery date! Saves any hassle and people asking when delivery will be! :T I hope.

Cant wait for my first load of products to turn up next Monday! I was soo good and did not order anything for myself! I think that next time it will be hard not to order for myself!? Any tips for me; to stop me buying things for me and my bloke?! xxxxxxxxxxxx

Steph, I agree with you, referrals aren't allowed here but maybe we should have a list of who from us is a sales leader and where we cover... then if someone wants to contact us or not they can choose? Is that pushing the rules a bit for this board or not? Luckily I have a wonderful and supportive ASM who not only spent a lot of time with me when I signed up but has promised to pass some leads to me to help me promote to SL. She has also offered to give up her time to help me with the pub party and to canvas our local university during fresher's week... I can't complain about her at all, she has really gone above and beyond for me.

Rep 2 signed up (he's my other half, he is helping me on the pub parties I have booked and in the run-up to xmas, so it's kinda legit) and number three booked in for this afternoon...

Not sure completely on the rules :-) You are lucky having such a helpful ASM mine is lovely too just very busy so only has a certain amount of time for each sales leader and rep which is understandable!

Well done on your sign ups so far looks like you should be on course for that lovely fast start bonus :-)

And as a sales leader I basically cover all of Cornwall though I prefer to be around St. Austell if poss but traveling is not a prob, have friends who are sales leaders in Plymouth, Kent, and in contact with others all over the country who are a lovely bunch of women I chat to on Flissy's and the sales leader website when I have spare time!x
