  • .....not to mention that it is often very little cheaper than the brochure price with a 25% discount...........:rotfl:

  • I don't want anyone to get excited but :j I've sold a bottle of Ungaro :j :j I am very excited....... (sad person :rotfl: !) I did this by allowing my customers a "sneaky advanced peak" of the Brochure 15 and telling them that it's launched mid-October but I can get it for them now if they want. I've also knocked another £2 off the brochure price "for this and next brochure only"....... Once one has had it and everyone else smells it I am hopeful that I will have some more sales. Haven't made a great deal this campaign though (but it's still not due in for a couple of days so I've just sent them all a reminder....). How is everyone else doing?
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

    Well done RIE.

Harping back to the Hello Tomorrow - does anyone show this to their customers? I spoke to my manager (what a laugh as i do not hear from her at all) and she said that she has reps that buy everything from this brochure and they hit the PC targets. How expensive is that - I totalled a couple of pages up and it came to £200. What a laugh...

haha, if I was in the PC I would buy the PC pack thats always in Hello Tomorrow.

But I wouldnt buy anything, if we spent 200 every campaign, we would have to sell near enough £1000 to make a profit???

Just got some new streets today, but I'm not gonna canvas them till C15, so they can see the lovely new books :D

Hi Mikiki - How many houses do you do now? I have approx 250 but only 30 people order and 90 houses are actually interested in looking. I do seem to have a really good area though. My average order is £300 so can not complain.

I can not believe that people do actually buy all the items from the Hello Tomorrow brochures. People must be really rich or not have anything else to spend their money on - hahaha

I think avon make their money from reps who buy lots every HT! I don't mean the odd treat or christmas gifts but I have heard of reps who do spend all their "earnings" and more each camp.

I saw one of my customers last night - she was not impressed with C13 at all - felt avon were "getting rid of stuff" ready for the christmas run which I did kind of agree with (as did all my other customers!). Made a big effort to tell her what was coming up so I hope I will get some good sales!
  • About HT - I buy some stuff from it - mainly jewelry items and perfumes etc - but fortunately I order my brochures 2 campaigns in advance so I can always see if it's cheaper in the brochure or HT. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but generally I get stuff I want for myself anyway. I very rarely order make up from HT.

Blimey I would be really annoyed. I get miffed when I am missing 10 books let alone 80. I have tried putting the Calling Cards through peoples doors to some affect - mind you I find it funny that people say "I saw your card but didn't have the time to call you", as if we have the time to keep chasing. The only incentive I have is that my area is 2 mins walk away from home, so I have exercise and earn money without too much off a struggle...
