Hello, just a quick question, i have got some returns to action. I have saved them all in the credits section of the Avon website, do i just submit these with my next order ( meaning i will have to pay for the items in advance) or do i submit now and these will come off my balance to pay????
Had a read thru Avon website and still unsure what to do0 -

Hiya, well done on the amazing earnings so far! Are they really your earnings not just your gross commission?! The most I've earned is £59 after brochures, samples etc. My patch isn't so great though.
If you want you can just pay the amount due less the items you have requested a credit for. It won't show up on the website but then nothing ever does lol. Their stance is that they would know why you had "underpaid" when checking your account so they are okay with this.
At least you know in advance, I've just had a £15 item returned a day after I paid the balance dueSo now I'm £15 down for the next two weeks and I really can't afford that.
On the bright side - good orders this camp so far.0 -
Hi thanks for your help
. They are my earnings soo far after i have bought books and a few samples and i had half of the start up fee taken off of my second lot as well otherwise i would be an extra £7.50 up on that total for the second month.
Not sooo promising this month it looks for orders, still one week to go before i have got to put my order in so really gonna try for one last push . I seem to be quite lucky in a couple of areas i have, one is my local road and as its a new estate some people havent seen an Avon book for about a year or so ( just hoping the novelty doesnt wear off ). C
Cant wait for xmas either as i know i used to spend a small fortune from my Avon lady as pressie's
P.s i seem to be one of the lucky ones that sells a lot of ANEW stuff and as that can be a bit pricey soon adds up0 -

What we suggest to people is that we will knock the refund off there next order if we have already paid the bill, i would say 90% of the time they go with it0 -
Up until recently i was a sales leader for Avon.
Im not sure how much of this has been said already but i will go over what i used to tell my reps incase it helps any of you!
When putting order forms in your books put them on pages with a good offer on!
Order ring sizers with every order and put them in every brochure in the jewellery section - when i started doing this my sales increased dramatically!
On your order forms until you have an established customer base do not put your address your name and phone number is sufficient, you don't want any old person turning up at your door!
Talk to your customers - ask them to show the book to their friends and family or take the book in to work with them offer them a free gift or a small discount if they introduce a new customer to you.
Always keep 2 or 3 books back to show to your friends and family,
After 2 campaigns if you dont get an order from a house talk to the person ask if they actually want to recieve the book.
Recanvas your areas - At least every 6 weeks - if you are worried about losing books keep hold of your previous campaign books and use them!
Until you know your customers be careful of what you buy out of HT - you dont want to end up with loads of items you have no use for!
Im tired and i have toothache and my mind has just gone blank i will have a think tomorrow and come back if i think of anything else! The Artist Formally Known As EH0 -
Blimey i cant believe nobod has posted anything on here for a whole day!! I feel desserted avonwise!
Well on a good note, an avon miracle happened last night. I have been chasing a customer for a week to give her her order and at 10pm last night she rang to say she wanted it. I nipped upstairs (i live in flats) to deliver it and on my way i noticed an avon book outside someones door. I thought it was going to be blank because the address bit poking out was blank but then i opened it and there was a five pound order! Wooo! Only a tiddler but it really perked me up!!
How is everyone else doing? Im on camp 14 and its going a bit slowly but hoping it'll pick up xxxx:happylove If you do what you've always done, you'll get where you've always got! :heartpuls0 -
Its all gone a bit quiet on here hasnt it.
Maybe everyone has lost the avon bug.
i must admit im findin it hard to motivate myself. i got a little bit excited about C15 brochures. i know if i get my head stuck in to it again i can do really well, its just being bothered.
i do love doing avon dont get me wrong i've just lost a little bit of my enthusiasm due to long hours at work and redecorating my house. any ideas on how i can get my enthusiastic self back? i need to be reminded what i love about it in the first place lol0 -

Hello all
I just signed up yesterday, my area manager seems really nice and we spent a couple of hours chinwagging when she came round. She seems really supportive, though I suppose you have to be when you're signing someone up! I'm quite excited and nervous - I've been given a 'posh' street and I'm worried people won't want Avon stuff. I used to do party plan for another company so if all else fails I'm going to try doing pamper parties.
BUT... I'll give it my best shot before it comes to that
I'm starting on c13 and I've got a week to get catalogues out and back. My plan is to get some out today for collection Friday, then get them turned around on Friday to some more houses for collection Monday. Does that sound okay?
So far I have:
set up an email address for orders and queries
printed some labels for the back of the catalogues
made a welcome letter introducing myself, highlighting some offers and offering a free gift when you spend over £20 and another if you can introuduce another customer (my area manager said she'll provide these)
put bookmarks in the book on the best offers
cut the strips off some punched pockets to make 'bags' for the catalogues (actually it looks really good)
I plan to dress up smart and knock on doors where possible, post if people aren't in but put a tick box on the bag for if people don't want to be bothered again.
...anything else I should be doing? I know I should put the order forms in the book on a 'good' offer... what is the best offer in c13, given that I have no idea what people will be into yet?
I am trying to look organised and professional from the get go.
Any tips or advice would be very gratefully received. I've read through the whole thread, (it's a brilliant thread guys! thank you! :T) and written down two pages of tips and ideas  but I'm worried I'll forget something or that I'm doing something wrong!0
