:hello::D
I bought a plastic presenter book. As soon as I have all the orders in, I put them into the pockets of the book (in door number order)....makes it much easier to see all your orders without bits of paper flying all over the place. It makes it simple to flick through for the smallest ones to pack first.
I do that too haha, I have a seperate plastic wallet for each customer and inside is a print out listing everything that they have ever ordered and info like when I can get hold of them.
I also work a three strike system where if somebody orders something and then messes me around (like that women who must of thought I was stupid when she agreed that she had wrote out the order on the order form, but she then told me that it wasent her order and she hadnt ordered anything:mad:  )
So then after three stikes I don't bother with them any more

There were a couple of biggies when we checked, Foundation & lipstick should have been 2 for £8, i was charged £12 for foundation and £8 for lipstick thats £12 overcharge !
I really need to check every invoice now against the order forms
If that was for campaign 11 and it was the extralasting foundation than it isnt included in the offer. It says it in tiny letters at the botton of the page.0 -
Hi all
I have read this thread with great interest as I am thinking of applying.
It all sounds very complicated! Please can anyone reassure me that it isnt too difficult!
Also - i would like to work near my home and havent seen an Avon rep round here for years ( had one visit two years ago - and i bought something!)
How would I find out if there are vacancies locally?
Any advice would be great0 -
Hi,
Don't worry it is actually very easy to do and there are always streets in the surrounding area you can do, or you can just do familly and friends.
I did'nt find out which streets were available until after I signed up. Try contacting Avon on their website and maybe they could tell you?

Is anyone else beginning to think that ANEW is a four-letter word?!!! If they add any more to the range it will take over the whole brochure, and we'll need an A-level to sell it (not that it sells very well in the first place, with the exception of the eye-lift.......and come to think of it, there are about 3 different types of that now  ). I thought the travel sizes might sell.........but of course if no-one uses it in the first place..........
Oh, and go for it Wilroda - you can always ask on here if you get stuck!'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

hello this is my first post i am just waiting for my delivery for c12 which is my second camp. My SL wants me to become a SL i have 2 friends that have said they wont to be a rep n one maybe. But some things are really bugging
1)I dont drive so dont no how i am going to round to everybody
2)I have a 1 year old. Do other parents with young children be sales leaders? n if so what do they do with there chilrdren??? I carnt even drive him to my mums as i have no car.
3) And have read all the post on here and it just seems like a lot of hard work with not a lot of gains???
Any help greatly appreciated and every one is doing really well!!! hope it keeps going good for you all!!0 -
Ellie I totally don't like ANEW either. Since I've started using Avon bits, my skin feels awful. Maybe I'm just using the wrong things but I'm really not pleased with either their Clearskin range or their ANEW products. So how am I supposed to sell it to my customers?!
Totally agree there are too many different products. I suspect they basically develop one cream then mix the ingredients around ever so slightly to claim they've invented another four just to make the profits go further on the original investment.
If only they'd actually listen to us, the people who use and sell these products, maybe they could come up with a range that would sell? But no point even emailing given the response I got about the samples last week.
Bexxx from what I've heard becoming a SL is a lot of work for nothing. I think you'd struggle recruiting new reps with no car and a 1yr old in tow. You don't really get paid anything for doing it from what the rep down the road told me. She used to be one but went back to just being a rep after a while because it was so much work for so little return. Hayley on this thread is a SL I think so maybe she can help.0 -
I se the clearskin cleanser as it keep my spots at bay (at 42?!) but the rest of it is pants. I've just read in HT that the Apple and Oat Protein Spray is being discontinued - pants as I use that! Typical. Everytime I get something that I use (the old formulation dry oil body spray, the mangoe and passionfruit naturals range, various lippies, body sprays and perfumes) they discontinue it. I must be the avon kiss of death :rotfl: I can count on one hand the number of ANEW stuff I've sold in about 5 years and I thought the travel sizes might go - but then we all know what thought did. What does everyone think of the Strawberry naturals stuff - smells like candyfloss to me. I must admit I like the Botanicals perfume though and I use quite a bit of that range - mark my words it'll be out the brochure in 6 months!
Also forgot to say that any ANEW stuff I've been sent has ended up on e-bay where it's usually taken a couple of goes to sell.....
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -
Oohhh, do you know what else I've noticed that's really sneaky? You know how we get "hugely discounted" products in the HT clearance sections? Have you noticed that the stuff is actually cheaper in the customer sale brochures?! If something is £1 in HT then £1.25 in the sale brochure - well that's actually 94p to us. It's really sneaky and preys on stupid reps imo. I suppose I should just be grateful I'm not a stupid rep? Lol.
*mumbles something along the lines of who me? stupid, no not me I don't have a cupboard full of 'discounted' stuff no not me* :rotfl:
my order is being delivered tomorrow and i start the next big push on the other road I ve got.
am quite excited............
xxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Does anyone else receive phone calls from Avon about the HT best seller money making packs? I just did and they wanted me to buy 5 of the rejuvenate anew item. When I said that I wanted to wait to see if anyone would buy it, they got a bit stressed saying that I could buy 3/4 and then return them if not required. I told them that I still wasn't interested and the phone call abruptly finished. I know everyone works to commission but is there any excuse for rudeness!0
