I'm in the same position. I have received the sct.myfines.eu notification yesterday but can't find any website to pay the 100 Euros to.. it's four months since I was in Spain but my hire car company charged me 40 Euro to supply the Police with my details, so I know it's a genuine offence and fine..( And yes I was in Spain, not Italy, and I accept that Spanish law applies to me when I am in Spain, I don't need any ranting opinion of what an English judge would do and I accept that I will be arrested at Spanish customs if I don't pay and do go back there... I'm not here to ask your daft opinions on european Law, just to ask if anyone else is in, or has been IN A SIMILAR POSITION, IN SPAIN, RECENTLY.. AND WITH THE SAME COMPANY LOOKING FOR PAYMENT..)

Regards to the Original Poster, you're not alone with this.. but I'm not interested in gob!!!!! keyboard warrior advice or opinions..

If you can't advise just keep quiet..
    Many Thanks.

Unfortunately for you it is an open forum that allows opinions and discussions to be made. Even people with certain attitudes to the discussion.

  • It's not unfortunate at all, an open thread is a good thing, but when it's hijacked by supercilious self opinionated "experts" who actually provide no insight whatsoever it just becomes a waste of time .. a bit like when people take the time to post sarcastic and pointless replies from the safety of their own home, and you get the impression that in a face to face situation they'd have nothing to say.. thanks for your input, I hope you feel better for it...

This can quite easily be ignored, if you do not pay, you will not be stopped at the border & hauled away.
There is no connection made between your passport & this minor traffic offence. If you were resident in Spain, you would have to pay as they would escalate this as our authorities would in the U.K.
They have given your details to a private company who are paid a commission to recover the fine.
I have received these in Spain & Italy, they have all been ignored & I have travelled there since without a problem. Just think how many people have the same name as you, more than you think.

At the moment, sure, the chances are you can ignore it, but don't throw away envelopes unopened in case you get a county court claim. Why? Because if one does come, and you don't respond, you will get a CCJ in your absence.

This advice doesn't apply everywhere. In New Zealand and Australia, you WILL have difficulties re-entering the country if you have unpaid speeding fines. They are quite anal about many things. Bio risks and speeding.

If you are looking for people just to agree that whatever you want to happen will happen, most forums don't work that way.

Looks like you have to pay it on here https://sedeapl.dgt.gob.es:7443/WEB_Sanciones/jsp/sincertificado/identificacionPagador.jsf or take a risk and ignore it.

Bloofox.Just re re read your comments. If you are referring to my post above then I aplogise if you think it pointless and sarcastic.

And I would inform people face to face that this is an open forum and people come on to here to try to give good advice suggestions. Some posters will give inappropriate advice and have certain attitudes/points of view to that discussion.

It's up to you to make your own mind up what advice would be appropiate in any discussions

I do hope you continue to post as you will find many lively posts giving advice on a great number of subjects. Once again welcome to the forum.

That page is for paying real traffic fines direct to the Spanish government.

The question is whether the Multiservizi page has anything to do with Spanish traffic fines. It seems to be difficult to find any connection.

However it may be possible for the OP to put his info into that page and discover whether the ticket is genuine.

That is UK law. Despite what Brexit fans will tell you, each country within the EU has its own laws. UK laws do not apply to offences that take place in Spain. If Spain have a similar provision then it would apply. You cannot apply UK law provisions to an offence in another country.
    Yes you can.

There are many extra territorial laws in the UK.
