If you under-use all your allowances, what's point in paying £10?
If your music is in the phone, you don't need a lot of data. Cheaper PAYG bundles are available and even more cheap 1-month SIM-only.

I use fairly close to my 4 gig data some months when away from home, but the most important factor for me is that I find this service providers coverage very good when I go far into the sticks cycling; and thats esssential in case I need to make an urgent outgoing call.

£10 is always £10, not sure what you are getting at.

And given that I am only paying for the set number of minutes, the charge thereafter per minute is wholly irrelevant.

There's been quite a few threads bemoaning the previous changes that were made to PAYG bundles. (Three's last set of changes seemed to annoy people in particular) So your £10 will still be £10, but you might find the bundle it buys has a different mix that might not suit you as well.
