Well the difference between a one and two year fix is next to sod all
So I can't really see the point in fixing for longer

i would stick to the one year fixed rate. the difference between the 2 year rate is as previously said negligible,as indeed is the difference between their variable rate and the one year fix.0

I am still on Lloyds 3.7% fixed until April 2014. I have now transferred all my previous ISA's into this ISA plus this and last years allowance so they are all in one place now. Lets hope there will be an increase in rates next year !0

google the above. have a look at thisismoney. they give info where you can get 2% easy access on a cash isa,but the difference is still paltry.0

Can you tell me - when do the rates change again? Is it April?0 -

No wonder consumer spending is driving the current "growth" - there's not much point in saving.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

As mine was a 2 year fixed rate ISA then probably about the same time as me although you will need to check the date you took it out !
No sorry I didn't mean that
I mean they just announced new interest rates a week ago
When will they change them again?
Do they change them at set times or is it just a random thing
Like its 1.65% today , will it still be that in April
Or may it change again in the meantime?0 -
