Don't know the answer to how KRBS handle interest payment but if they haven't paid today, I doubt they will pay before Tuesday as Monday is a Bank Holiday.

BTW, Al Rayan Everyday Saver and Barclays RDS have already credited the interest for December.
Thanks @band7 - I'd somehow forgotten about Monday!

Has anyone got their monthly interest from Kent Reliance Easy Access yet please? From my previous experiences, it has shown on the account the day after the last working day (and been dated as the last working day) but it has not showed for me this time round. I wondered if perhaps it was because it was a Saturday, and it'd show on Monday, but I'm unsure. Thank you
My KR Instant Access interest is always dated on the last day of the month, working day or not, and it's always been visible on the 1st of the next month.

Thanks for this @Rudyson - seems random that they do that seeing as the product page states 'monthly interest is paid on the last working day of each month.' I'll keep my eye out on the 1st in case, but I'll also check towards the end of the first week of the new year because of all the Bank Holidays. I've not had accounts with them long enough to have the last working day be different from the last day, until this month (accounts since August) - but I'll keep an eye out for what you've mentioned they do!

  • Kent Reliance always pays last day of the month, even on weekends. Though it never shows until the next day like many other banks, so it will show tomorrow.

And that's exactly what's happened with my account as always. Interest showing today.

Anyone else waiting for Monmouthshire to verify their nominated account? I've got £25k stuck in their Premium saver, which I was hoping to move to Coventry next Friday. I sent off the nominated account form with an original bank statement nearly 4 weeks ago.
  • I received my MBS passbook for their Xmas Saver Bond account yesterday. I was expecting to have to complete a nominated account form but......when I registered for online access I was asked to complete nominated account details online. So, looks like I won't need to complete a form.

I too had to submit my nominated account details online, then I received a letter about a week later asking me to provide an original or certified statement from my nominated account as proof.

ESBS Progress Account and some other account types I checked now state:

“Please note that this Savings account may only be opened by existing members or by people living within the post code areas of LE, CV9-13 inclusive and DE11-15 inclusive. Existing accounts can be operated as usual.”

  • You know what would be interesting, well at least I would find interesting, would be to keep account of who is top of the charts for the most days. On the main site it feels like ZOPA has been there for ages now, though I understand Coventry will take over very soon.

I do realise by the way this can't be done, there are too many notions of what "Easy Access" really means. For me it means any amount and no withdrawal limitations whatsoever, I know others feel differently.
