I have 3 to cover my funds while I wait for a better fixed rate deal.All pay more.Al Ryan 1.90%Zopa 1.81%Shawbrook 1.75%Plus emergency saving split between 4 banks.I want the best rate I can get.So jump ship for better rate, not lower rates, but thats just me.0

While that Principality rate of 1.65% is obviously not appropriate for you, it's higher than the likes of Chase, Marcus, Atom and Tesco (and a LOT of people on here will have those accounts), they have high-street branches and the last time I needed to phone them (with an ISA query), I got through to a human straight away which is a rarity these days
While there are a lot of rate chasers on here (myself included), we shouldn't forget that there are other factors that might affect decisions on whether to choose a particular account or not.8 -
