Today I discovered to my surprise that National Savings have apparently recently increased their Direct Saver interest rate from 0.5% to 1.2%. I seem to recall that somewhere on their website they publish a leaflet giving their up-to-date interest rates for all their products. I've been struggling to locate this leaflet - can anyone give me a link where I can download it?

Thanks, I'm aware of that page, but that's not the leaflet I'm looking for which can be downloaded in PDF format. The last one I downloaded was dated 1 April 2021, 10 pages long and called "Keeping you informed". Is there an update to this leaflet I can download from somewhere?southone said:Molehusband said:Today I discovered to my surprise that National Savings have apparently recently increased their Direct Saver interest rate from 0.5% to 1.2%. I’ve just opened an RCI account but when I try to transfer from my HSBC account it says the names don’t match.
I’ve sent a £1 test to check it out but I have to wait for my customer ID to be sent through the post before I can check that this has gone in, so a waste of a few days interest.
Surely these days everything should be dealt with online not having to wait for post0 -
There are accounts which are faster to open than RCI, and which pay better interest.Lynsey89 said:I’ve just opened an RCI account but when I try to transfer from my HSBC account it says the names don’t match.

Generally, I think it is a good idea not to deposit any money into any account you don't have full access to.0 -
I was hoping to see 1.75 / 1.8 % on my chase app this morning but no luck. Love the app etc but could do with higher rate .0

I just pulled nearly all my money out of Chase.Pompeydave1967 said:I was hoping to see 1.75 / 1.8 % on my chase app this morning but no luck. Love the app etc but could do with higher rate .1 -
To everyone hoping/wanting Chase to raise rates: this is what you need to do. There is no incentive for Chase to raise their rates if people don't move their capital away once the rates are uncompetitive.pearl123 said:

I doubt if Chase care if you move money out of your savings account just as long as you keep your current account open.1
