That's why I went for annual originally, but didn't think about the tax implications!Good news though - they replied today to say they've switched the account to monthly. Surprisingly easy - quite impressed!Edit: And now all 8 transactions over the weekend and this morning are deposited in my account. Not too shabby.2

If i opened a Shawbrook account, put in the max £85k and asked for monthly interest are you allowed a balance over £85k? Or would the interest need to be paid into another account?
I have seen the maximum balance allowed is £85k?0 -
