Thanks but don’t think I’ll bother. I’m sure one of my existing accounts will catch up soon & I really need to cut back on the admin.soulsaver said:

In unbelievably bad timing, I closed my Coventry Limited Access saver online @ 09.34SJMALBA said:Coventry Building Society 'Four Access Saver' (not available for new customers) increasing from 0.9% to... 1.4% 😲 , effective 1.6.22
That's a much bigger rise than I was expecting! 😎
@ 09.35, email arrived telling me of increase to 1.4%😡
Oh well, I’m sure there’ll be others along soon.1 -
I'm an existing Coventry customer with £1 in a Money Manager savings account and if I log in and investigate accounts available I can't find "Four Access Saver" listed. Also can't find it with Google search. Am I going about it the wrong way or am I not the right sort of exiting customer?SJMALBA said:Coventry Building Society 'Four Access Saver' (not available for new customers) increasing from 0.9% to... 1.4% 😲 , effective 1.6.22

The post you to which you refer (previous quote) is not strictly accurate: It should say the account is closed to new applicants.murphydavid said:

Saying it's not available to new customers is true, but it gives the impression it's available to existing customers... which is not the case.
It's in the CBS list of closed accounts - was available for c. a month in Sept/Oct 2021.2 -
You have to be an existing customer of THAT account, not just Coventry BS.murphydavid said:

If you don't already possess it in your portfolio, you cannot now add it as it is no longer open to new applications.
Hope that makes sense.1 -

Apologies for any confusion - as soulsaver has clarified/corrected, it's a historic account, not available for new 'applicants'

FordMoney Flexible Saver increases to 1.15% effective from today.Edit: Includes existing accounts3

Just a couple of questions re Al Rayan Instant Access Account.
1. Are transfers out to a nominated account instant - can't see anything on their website about it.
2. If you open an account online is identification done electronically or do you still need to send them certified copies of documents? On line the conditions only talk about opening by post or in branch.

Tis a pity (for me that is). Seems loyalty is not enough. Although £1 in a low interest account for years is hardly loyalty I suppose but it does not stop me receiving promotional advertising.1 -
Withdrawals arrive in linked current account within 10-30 minutes but only during business hours on working days. You can schedule a payment for a future date, in which case it arrives just after 9am on that date, or the next working day if the scheduled date is not a working day.Malchester said:Just a couple of questions re Al Rayan Instant Access Account.

I didn‘t need to send them any ID documents when I applied online for my first account with them several years ago. This doesn‘t mean they never request additional ID.1
