Chase pays 1.5% on their Chase Saver account and it's not possible to open an account on a PC so what exactly have you opened ? Be careful it isn't a scam site.

Actually - the recent link posted was for a Gatehouse account @1.3% - have you confused the two ?

maybe they've improved since I closed my accounts last year... I will have posted about the hassle I had with them (especially closing the accounts), but the forum search is hopeless here so not worth trying to find and link to that post.

for me, based on that previous experience, there isn't an interest rate they could offer that would tempt me back - if others have had a different experience with VM, then that's fine and i'm pleased that they have - perhaps I was just unlucky, but I can live with that... there are better and stress-free options out there.

tbh, I wasn't really using them for savings anyway, it was primarily the current account - which would be off-topic for this thread.

Yes, it's a decent rate if Chase isn't an option - just bear in mind that it's a Shariah bank so that rate is an 'expected profit rate' and not guaranteed.

The chase account is app only @1.5%. Plus 1% cashback for 12 months on their card.
