Haven't seen anyone mention issue 22. I got an email about mine dropping. Some banks don't tell you if you've only got a small balance in the account.iwant2asave said:
I have an issue 22 and am not sure if/when it's rate will change. Is there a web page showing the pending rate changes or is this information only sent to people who's rate will change?FIREmenow said:
All down - issue 20 going from 5.07 to 4.76.pecunianonolet said:
Same for Virgin Defined Access E-Saver issue 19 going from 5.12% to 4.76% on 31st May.gwapenut said:Virgin Money are slashing rates on their defined access e-saver (21) from 5.11% to 4.76% in a couple of weeks' time.
This bait-and-stitch-up behaviour disgusts me as the account was only launched a couple of months ago and the base rate has not changed.
Since depositing house equity 6 months ago, I've started to learn who the honourable players are. Stafford BS are OK but have outdated account management. Cynergy, Kent Reliance, Family have been excellent at maintaining rates. Santander were OK, we got a good 6 months out of their account. Chorley haven't been great, but havn't been the worst offenders.
If/when it goes down it will change here but it doesn't show changes that haven't happened yet. You'll know on 31st May. https://uk.virginmoney.com/savings/helpful-information/find-your-interest-rate/1 -

Adding to this, you only have to fund it within 28 days of opening.soulsaver said:Bridlington1 said:
If the above source is accurate (It usually is, Ed.) note: This account Iss7 is still available at 5.05% today, probably for the last day... see here and follow on posts for more info.
I opened a basic saver to become a customer and then the issue 7 on Saturday. Although the minimum payment and minimum balance is £1k, you have 28 days, so I've left it empty now to see where the land lies in a few weeks. I have Ulster loyalty at 5.2% so just creating some backups.
I did put £1 in the basic savings account straight away as I didn't want anything to delay getting set up and able to apply for issue 7 of the double access.
Does anyone know how long issue 7 was available for? Wondering how quickly they go through the issues.
Paragon Dble Access Iss7 5.05% £1k min (launched 08/03) reduced to 4.91% at 09/04 for new applications, then reissued at 5.05% 10/5, then existing customers only for a few days, then NLA 21/05 (maybe 20/05).
Not sure you can conclude owt - but as tracked within ToTP. See link in signature.

Unlimited but bear in mind they don't allow transfers out after 8pm, or on non working days (inc weekends, bank holidays). So you could be waiting anything up to ~5 days at worst. Hardly instant access. More of a very-short-notice account.trickydicky14 said:Skipton members bonus saver 1A 5.5%
Can someone help please, I have lost the T&C's for this account. I know the account rate is for a year but does it have any restrictions on how many withdrawals you can make during that year.
Thanks.1 -

So issue 7 was available from 10 May but had also been available previously. Similarly issue 8 has been available before. All a bit confusing.0 -
Hi - Newbie here… 1st post!
I was just on the Raisin platform looking to shift the Santander easy access to paragon 5.0% but as I refreshed the page it looks like paragon has dropped off the list - withdrawn you think?0 -
The link from the Moneyfacts EA tables to that page no longer works, and it's not listed on Raisin's page - so I think it's safe to say that it's been withdrawn.Archie_Tect said:Hi - Newbie here… 1st post!

April dated NLAs (to be) removed from ToTP page.
Usual caveat: rates are at time of going NLA.
For those that asked for extended retention of NLA list - note April's NLAs (below) will be deleted from rankings soon.
If you want copies for your records with the existing OOD links, you have a few days before they're wiped.
