    Just a reminder the NLA Easy Access Saver Limited Edition (Issue 3) interest rate drops from 5.2% to 4.2% today.
    Is anyone else getting a peverse sense of pleasure moving their money out of this today? Currently draining it into Skipton Base Rate Tracker
    I emptied mine into regular savers and ISAs a while back but I must admit I do miss those wonderful days when savings rates were rising and I was moving money from one easy access account to another, in some cases several times a week in an effort to get the best EA rates possible. These days I have to make do with emptying regular savers into other regular savers, which isn't as fun now that interest rates are relatively stable.

    It was good that it lasted for long as it did. Bulk of my savings are for a extension so happy to transfer in to a Oxbury notice account at 5.26%

    With CPI inflation at 3.2% (and probably falling), savers have never had it so good.

    @soulsaver
    Paragon Double Access Savings Account Issue 8 to be launched at 4.91% tomorrow

    If the above source is accurate (It usually is, Ed.) note: This account Iss7 is still available at 5.05%  today, probably for the last day... see here and follow on posts for more info.

    Adding to this, you only have to fund it within 28 days of opening.

    I opened a basic saver to become a customer and then the issue 7 on Saturday. Although the minimum payment and minimum balance is £1k, you have 28 days, so I've left it empty now to see where the land lies in a few weeks. I have Ulster loyalty at 5.2% so just creating some backups.

    I did put £1 in the basic savings account straight away as I didn't want anything to delay getting set up and able to apply for issue 7 of the double access.

    Does anyone know how long issue 7 was available for? Wondering how quickly they go through the issues.

    Virgin Money are slashing rates on their defined access e-saver (21) from 5.11% to 4.76% in a couple of weeks' time.

    This bait-and-stitch-up behaviour disgusts me as the account was only launched a couple of months ago and the base rate has not changed.

    Since depositing house equity 6 months ago, I've started to learn who the honourable players are. Stafford BS are OK but have outdated account management. Cynergy, Kent Reliance, Family have been excellent at maintaining rates. Santander were OK, we got a good 6 months out of their account. Chorley haven't been great, but havn't been the worst offenders.
    Same for Virgin Defined Access E-Saver issue 19 going from 5.12% to 4.76% on 31st May.
    All down - issue 20 going from 5.07 to 4.76.
    I have an issue 22 and am not sure if/when it's rate will change.  Is there a web page showing the pending rate changes or is this information only sent to people who's rate will change?
    Haven't seen anyone mention issue 22. I got an email about mine dropping. Some banks don't tell you if you've only got a small balance in the account.

    If/when it goes down it will change here but it doesn't show changes that haven't happened yet. You'll know on 31st May. https://uk.virginmoney.com/savings/helpful-information/find-your-interest-rate/
