According to Moneyfacts, Coventry Building Society are launching a new Triple Access Saver Online (issue 2) account, paying 5.15% AER.

The minimum opening deposit is £1.  The account permits 3 penalty-free withdrawals per year.

The maximum investment is £250,000.  The interest is paid on the anniversary of account opening or monthly (select the interest option of your choice during the account opening process).

The account is opened and managed online.
Account opened. It's my 9th Coventry account, most with only a £1 balance as rate no longer competitive, at least for now.

Triple Access Saver Online (issue 1) (NLA) is 5.2% AER in case of interest to anyone.

If you login to Coventry and apply to open a new account, it is already showing as an option

Forgive my ignorance but does a charter EA issue 48 automatically become an issue 49 or do you continue to get the issue 48 rate ?

No - the bonus rate lasts for 12 months every time you renew it. They could reduce the bonus at any point though, so it makes sense to renew it every now and again just in case - you can do this whenever you want.
