@Londonlisa12 You'll stay on issue 48 and continue to get the appropriate rate for that issue until they decide to change it.Forgive my ignorance but does a charter EA issue 48 automatically become an issue 49 or do you continue to get the issue 48 rate ?

Happy new year.
Reference purposes only; not definitive; no NLAs; no savings platforms etc etcTable 1: soulsaver's most recent updated list, Table 2: EAs that can be opened and maintained with £1 and allow unlimited deposits and withdrawals, Table 3: True EAs that advertise immediate deposit and withdrawals, 24/7.Added a dash of colour to highlight changes since the last update. Blue is for new entries since last month - Coventry and Close Bros opened new accounts, Post Office Money returns, and Metro Bank makes its debut in table 3. Note Metro's 4.51% account requires an opening balance of £500 but this can then be withdrawn without a drop in the rate.Green is for entries who raised their rates since last month - so even though Charter and KR lowered their rates on their most recent issues, they're both still higher than my last post.Red is for rate droppers. Ford Money and cahoot take a tumble but still manage to stay on the scorecard, the latter displacing Monzo's 4.1% account (cahoot offers a higher maximum balance). If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.12 -
Ooh, got in just in time. At least I should get the 5% (monthly) for another 60 days - before that presumably drops. I reckon that might just buy 2 bottles of local beer on my holibobs.soulsaver said:***NLA*** Cahoot Simple Saver Iss2 5.12% (09/10) ***NLA 29/01*** Now Iss3 - 4.10%
Recent drops are in quite big chunks too - that's over 1%.0 -
The rate on issue 2 hasn't changed, lower rate is only for new customers applying now for issue 3BooJewels said:

I didn't say that it had. I said I just got it in time opening an issue 2 a week ago. I mentioned that I'd at least have the better rate of issue 2 for at least another 60 days - because if they're lobbing 1% off rates, they'll possibly be making cuts elsewhere on other issues - as they're all variable. Maybe not - might get more than 60 days.pecunianonolet said:

Yes, it's best to grab them asap. Almost all best EA's in my collection are now NLA.BooJewels said:

I've opened both (simple and sunny) Cahoots 11 days ago, still didn't receive two letters with codes for online access. Called them today. They said that they are having a problem with their system and everything is delayed. Can fund them anyway because I have sort code and account numbers, but I'm not in a hurry because at the moment all of my EA money are in 5.20%-5.22% already. I was also told that there is no deadline for funding these accounts, can keep them at £0 balance for about a year or more and then they will send a letter with plenty of notice to make a transaction if I still want the account to be opened.5 -
Thanks. You've saved me a call tomorrow as I've also not received anything in the post. I'd better quickly open the Sunny Saver too.allegro120 said:
