Not really a retired typist. I took the user namer as I went to college to learnt to type and use computers when I retired.
Somehow I quoted Mr H's comment instead of yours but I was replying to you and thanks to Mr H in future I will hit the edit button when I make a mistake."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -
In the interest of fairness, I have posted email coms between them and me. I will upload any improvement in the service should it occur but in the mean time it's a definite thumbs down. PS they take 2 days to reply.
Hi ,
Although I am appreciative of your reply, I would like to point out that I had especially stayed in the 12hour period you stipulate for your pick up time. No contact was made to say that there may be a problem. I would have also appreciated an explanation as to why you didn't carry out your part of the deal. I notice that the funds I paid are in your accounts and it will be several days before it is back in mine . In light of all the issues I have mentioned, I will not be recommending you as a reliable or convenient service and as a first time user, I cannot imagine using your services again. I will also be publishing your reply and my answer on Money Saving Expert.
Subject: RE: Cancel your Collection
Dear Mr ,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the failure to collect the parcel. I have refunded the shipping costs and this will go back on to your paypal account in 5-7 working days.
Kind Regards

Gurujphn - am I missing something? What on earth has this to do with instant access savings accounts?
And on the subject - typistretired: People come to this hread to get/give tips on savings. A bit of banter is one thing, but 8 posts with only 1 related to the topic really is a bit much to plough through!0 -
It is a shame the Coventry First current account no longer pays any interest. That is the reason I am switching out of them to Lloyds Vantage (interest paid on first 5k).
Lloyds account opening at branch very efficient. Took 20mins to leave branch with sortcode + account no!
At LloydsTSB the 3% is payable only on balances of between £3k & £5k. If the balance is less than 3k then the interst rate falls.0 -

Odd because that's not an option on the application paperwork that's printed out when you apply online.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -

How dare you, I am a serious follower of the best savings rate. I have never missed the best rate and I have always passed the best rate on to others or praised those who passed it on. Tell me which 8 posts which only one related to the topic. If you knew my portfolio you would be jealous as I am a great amateur accountant"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -
