Small gripe but the Santander EA Saver doesn't seem to allow monthly interest to be paid away - or am I missing something?
You can select the monthy interest option of 5.08%.

The Santander easy access news has made my day. That's an extra £85 a month I'll be getting compared to their first incarnation

Dont know if you noticed - the confirmation email has an incorrect KPI document attached, for an easy access saver with a rate of 2.7-something. I have ignored this, as the account correctly shows 5.2% (I have chosen annual interest payment).
Re Santander EAS Ltd Ed (3); Mine also shows incorrect rate on attached document, which states it's for Easy Access Saver issue 23.  However, it too shows correct rate when logged on.
My attached 'key facts' shows the correct rates, e-mail sent 10:00 (?).
My incorrect attachment email's timed at 08:02, so it looks like they must've corrected by the time yours was issued, maybe.

Why has Shawbrook disappeared from the MSE table? Still showing 4.93% AER on their website.

    That wasn't the question.

Don't worry about it. Seems the excitement of the Santander account is causing some to miss the 'away' in my question. 😁
  • Great rate offered by Santander but for once I won’t be chasing the top rate. Shambolic process applying when they were last top of the charts, needed to submit all sorts of ID in branch and never not acknowledgment the account was even opened. Add on the stories of regular fraud checks transferring in lump sums and hours of phone calls then absolutely no chance. Pleased I got the Tandem 5% and hope another challenger bank matches or beats Santander.
