i ve just opened a Tandem account via the App but so far they have not asked for ID other than usual name address etc plus a quick fingerprint confirmation.They did ask for consent to my main bank account which so far has nt been consented to as yet which is why I ve not been able to make a sample transfer which I find odd.

I just opened a Tandem account and they didn’t ask me to provide any ID. I picked my bank from a list for the open banking and it is all set up and a couple of deposits have been done.

There's no limit by Tandem.  You can send via bank transfer up to the max (250k).

Does anyone know when Tandem pay interest? Is it on monthly anniversary or a fixed date.

Just looked this up myself. It’s monthly on a fixed date…..just not sure what the date is but guessing it’s monthly anniversary of account opening.

My existing Issue 9 has automatically gone to this. 4.65%AER / 4.55%gross pcm.

mine still says 0.00% as i've been waiting since last Tuesday for ST to do an internal transfer from Iss7 to Iss9 - it would have been quicker for me to withdraw and deposit it myself.

My close & transfer from Issue 7 to 9 happened this morning, requested last Monday. Usually same or next day. They must be a tad busy! Hopefully yours will occur tomorrow.

So I’ve been against opening any more accounts but Tandem’s move today has made me change my mind. I think the 5% Easy Access threshold is a psychological no brainer, at least for me, and a very clever move on Tandem’s part. Wasn’t very long ago that people on here could hardly dare dream about 4% being broken……I guess in Atom’s case there is still work to be done there! Sure there are a few other Banks reworking their strategy now so going to be interesting. Would love to know how many millions have already gone into Tandem accounts today!
