Just looked this up myself. It’s monthly on a fixed date…..just not sure what the date is but guessing it’s monthly anniversary of account opening. 

Monthly anniversary of first funding not opening. If you open today 7th but only put funds in tomorrow 8th interest will be paid on the 8th each month moving forward. So for those opening today, worth to put £1 in today and move funds tomorrow when rate is up.

Interest is calculated daily and compounded into your Instant Access Saver on a monthly basis. The interest will be applied to your account each month on the same date you first funded it. You’ll receive an SMS when your interest has been added and your statement is ready to view in the app.

Rate already 5% for accounts opened today. Can personally confirm from my own account opened a couple of hours ago.

My existing Issue 9 has automatically gone to this. 4.65%AER / 4.55%gross pcm.

mine still says 0.00% as i've been waiting since last Tuesday for ST to do an internal transfer from Iss7 to Iss9 - it would have been quicker for me to withdraw and deposit it myself.

My close & transfer from Issue 7 to 9 happened this morning, requested last Monday. Usually same or next day. They must be a tad busy! Hopefully yours will occur tomorrow. 

they must be doing them in batches today as I just checked and the close & transfer has just occurred.

it was only 8 months ago I took out a 5yr fix with them @ 5% - I never thought the instant access rate would get anywhere near it!
