The last time a Coventry Four Access issue went NLA (issue 1) they launched issue 2 two weeks later. So do we think issue 3 will be along soon?

Wondering whether worth holding off putting more into my issue 2 just yet...

Skipton BS will be increasing some of their variable rate accounts w.e.f 14/8/2023.

    See here (PDF)
    Thanks for that.

Noticeable by its absence - no increase on the Bonus Saver Issue 8 which will stay at 4.45%.  Disappointing.

I`m not surprised you missed the increase on the Skipton Bonus Saver Issue 8 to 4.6%. The plethora of different account names generated by lots of financial institutions has got beyond a joke! You have to trawl through a long list to get to your savings account.
It wasn't on the initial list.  It was added later.

Issue 2 is going to 4.8 which is where the new issue will be.

When does Chip pay interest? I made a £1 deposit on 30 June and then a large lump sum on 1 July. I'm sure it's meant to be paid monthly but whether its a month from when I opened or 1st of the month.. I think I should've been paid the interest by now? Still showing as accrued though.
    4th working day.
You will not get all the interest you see today.
As it will include the last 3/4 day interest from the 1st - 4th.
I take a screen shot on the last day to make sure I know what I will get.
Havent they just changed this today? I got a notification and it said pending interest would stop on the last day of the month and reset then?
Not on my account, I’ve got £1.48 pending from the last 4 days.
    Interest has paid this morning.

My account balance has been zero since 1st Aug. Yet I still have a little interest left pending after today's credit.

Last time I checked Chip calculated monthly interest from the last day of the previous month to the second last day of the current month and paid it on the 4th working day of the following month (meanwhile interest for the following cycle would also continue accruing). So chances are the small pending interest is from the balance on the night of 31st July assuming you emptied it on 1st August.

I just opened a couple of accounts with Oxbury and had a few questions. I was going to call them but apparently they don't have a phone number.  Does anyone have any experience of actually getting in touch with them?
How long to get a response by email?
I was happy with how easy the account opening process was but I'm quite disappointed now.

First thing I check is for a phone number, old fashioned that way.
    I like a contact number.
The only bank and savings I have without a number is Chip.
So far the message centre has been spot on.

Yep, that's my understanding of how they do it too. I don't know why they have to do it in such an odd way. It certainly confuses people, as demonstrated by the questions we get on here each month. If they do nothing else I think they should change the app so it shows the actual amount of interest accrued in the current interest period rather than including a few days of the following one.
