No they don’t. Often an interest rate rise only applies to a new issue, so you have to message them to ask for your account to be moved to this new issue.redmalc said:I deposited the full 85k max into Shawbrook easy access account a few months ago and what I like is they automatically give you the increased rate every time they change without having to close your account and open a new one0 -
Marcus always behind the curve. I'm expecting Tandem to make a move today.Eirambler said:
Marcus up to an extremely underwhelming 4.3%AER overnight.poppystar said:Saga Easy Access web page ‘being updated’ …another last minute before BoE meets increase in rate for Marcus/Saga I wonder?
Their cash ISA is also up to 4.3% which is more competitive in terms of that market but you can't transfer in so that is not a whole lot of use either.0 -
And in the unlikely event that people want to benefit from that underwhelming rate (or any future ones) for a whole year then the bonus renewal option is active. Same bonus rate but it resets the period back to a full year.Eirambler said:

Wow. Remember all that fuss and the hundreds of posts when Newcastle BS tracker became available? That rise wont even put it in the current top 5 and that's BEFORE the others have the chance to take todays bank rise into consideration.Bridlington1 said:Well there's now been a 0.25% rise in the base rate taking it to 5.25%.
