I've had no problems with multiple deposits and withdrawals over a couple of months. I do keep money in another EA account just in case I can't access Chip for some reason.Zerforax said:Guess its time to open a Chip account..Has anyone had issues with transferring money from Chip? There is no monthly charge for the savings account. I think Chip also offer lots of other financial products with a monthly charge, but there is no requirement to use those.mayweather said:Doctor_Who said:

Nope, in and out is instant, just make sure you go through all the settings after opening to turn off all the auto-savings / auto-transfer stuff if not needed.Zerforax said:Guess its time to open a Chip account..Has anyone had issues with transferring money from Chip? Why is Chip asking to connect to a debit card? I've had other banks link to another account so provided current account and sort code. I just do online banking with this account so I wonder where the debit card is..

It uses the debit card to link to your bank account rather than the sort code and account number, but the end result is the same.Zerforax said:Doctor_Who said:

So there isn't an alternative to use sort code/account number? Such a pain.

Chip uses 'open banking' and uses the debit card only to set it up. Later you can make deposits from the linked account by a debit card (slow) or by faster payments (fast) or via open banking (pull from Chip). Withdrawals - only open baking, I think.Zerforax said:Doctor_Who said:
